cynthia1960 made me an icon recalling one of Lois McMaster Bujold's most memorable scenes...It's sort of one of those "you have to be there" moments, but if you have NOT read Barrayar by Lois McMaster Bujold, and you like SF/space opera even the slightest bit, allow me to point you at Cordelia's Honor, an omnibus edition of Shards of Honor and Barrayar. It's good.

Yes, Queen Victoria, from the cover of the book Victoria the Young Queen (covering events precipitating her birth, her early years, and her reign up until Albert's death). I didn't finish it because it was pretty much all stuff I've read before, but I liked the art.
