Stories don’t need to be super sappy and sugary/fluffy, but please don’t get all grim and dark. Bittersweet can work if there are hopeful tinges. I like humor, and I don't think I do a good job of writing it - sparkling snappy dialogue always works!
I generally prefer het or gen. Explicit sex can be good, romance is always in.
I am a huge fan of "seemingly unrelated group of people trapped somewhere and discover they a) have something in common and b) can't just leave" - see Clue, see And Then There Were None. Please feel free to get soap opera-ish! Half-siblings no one knew about! Illegitimate siblings you thought were just family friends! Psycho-half-siblings who want to kill you and take your life over! Convenient accidents! Crazy wills and marriages of convenience!
No dubcon/non-con, graphic violence and gore, sexual violence, cruelty to animals. No major character death that isn't canon (feel free to kill extras off).

What I’d really like is a focus on Ruby Gillis in either the AU where she doesn’t die of consumption or the fairy tale retelling (Ruby would make an excellent fairy tale princess) – I’d say these two can easily be combined. Let Ruby live and get her own happy ending, somehow connected to Anne’s?
For the murder mystery AU, I’d love to see Anne or Ruby as an amateur sleuth (or together as amateur sleuths) in either Avonlea or the Ingleside era. If you had them meet up with Miss Marple or a Miss-Marple-like character (I didn’t nominate her, but I bet Mrs. Rachel would be super helpful in this situation! Or Miss Cornelia.) that would also be lovely.

AU: One Character writes a Roman a Clef (Tell-all Novel) (GWTW-MM)
For the Charles Hamilton AU, give that poor young guy a chance to live and spend some time with his sister and his son. It’s okay if you have him realize that Scarlett is who she is. I’d really like more focus on the Melanie & Charles dynamic, and include little Wade.
For the Ellen O’Hara AU, how would things have been different if Ellen had been there to make Scarlett be a lady? How would she have dealt with the ruin of the world she’d been raised to live in and raised her girls to live in? I think she would have done okay, but she’d have put some brakes on Scarlett. (Not nominated, but if you wanted to include characters who only appear in the book, Grandma Fontaine and her crew would be great, as well as Mrs. Tarleton.) Plus I’d love to see how Ellen and Melanie would have worked together.
The roman a clef one is the only one I really want Belle Watling in (I think she could write a seriously juicy one). I’d like to see her interact with Melanie, and maybe shut down Scarlett but good.
And I like Scarlett. But she is what she is, and she’s not always a nice person – although I do hate the whole part where everyone hates on Scarlett for being a bitch, and doesn’t acknowledge that she never abandoned any of the people she was responsible for.
Greek and Roman Mythology
Clytemnestra, Helen of Troy, Relationship: Penelope/Odysseus
AU: Murder Mystery (Greek and Roman Myth)
AU: Regency House Party (Greek and Roman Myth)
So while I was working on a story for Once Upon A Fic this year, I started thinking about the whole deal where all the suitors are piled up at Tyndareus’ palace, fighting over Helen, and realized: this would make an awesome Regency house party story. I’d like the focus to be on Odysseus trying to win Penelope’s hand (with her uncle Tyndareus’ help) and the relationship between Helen, Clytemnestra, and Penelope (how do the sisters get on, with each other and their cousin Penelope? I envision Penelope as having been asked to help be a responsible adult).
If you go the murder mystery AU route, I would love love love a setup like Clue or And Then There Were None – bunch of strangers brought together by persons unknown. Or set it at the Regency house party… Or if you wanted to cast Odysseus and Penelope as a Hart to Hart style set up, that would also be hugely entertaining!

For the Baroness or Zarana one (and if you did a set-up where they were each working for the Joes and neither one knows the other is, and they keep tripping over each other, that would be wonderful!), I’m interested in how they see the two groups, as well as their motivation. I’d also be interested in their interactions with Scarlett and/or Cover Girl.
For the Zarana one, I’d love it if you work in the Zarana/Mainframe relationship. Is she with GI Joe, pretending to be with COBRA, pretending to be with GI Joe when she meets Mainframe, or is their relationship the catalyst for her coming over? A plot where they channel Hart to Hart would also be good!
For Most Dangerous Game, I’d like the focus to be on the characters above. Feel free to make it a “Joes and COBRAs have to work together” deal.
If you go the one Joe is a COBRA agent one, I’d prefer the focus be on the nominated characters trying to catch them. I don’t have a preference as to who you make the COBRA agent as long as you get into the why, just a little.
For COBRA being the good guys, I don’t have a lot… I just like the idea! This one would make an excellent cracky sort of story.

Craig Phillips win – How would this change dynamics?
Jacqui lives – How would this change dynamics? She can be alive at the time of the story or not, but not have her go down in that plane crash. I like to think she’d be a good addition, and see through all of Eric Raymond’s BS.
Jerrica tells Rio – They missed out on the perfect opportunity to have Jerrica tell Rio, right after he saves her from the gang Eric hires to destroy the records. How would that go (especially after their fight) and how would it change things?
I like the Kimber/Stormer relationship, but would prefer not focusing on it in this one - feel free to have them in the background though. I am interested in how Aja and Craig's relationship might play out if he won.
And Then There Were None - Agatha Christie (book)
Emily Brent, Relationship: Philip Lombard/Vera Claythorne, Vera Claythorne, William Blore (And Then There Were None)
AU: Emily Brent is Miss U.N. Owen (And Then There Were None)

In case you can’t tell, I really love this book.
Emily Brent as Miss Owen – Emily Brent is high on my list of characters to dislike. But I’d love to see her as the mastermind behind this one (and it would fit with her personality and dislike of people “sinning”) – feel free to kill everyone OR let Philip and Vera get her in the end.
Hercule Poirot or Jane Marple involved – either invited or after the fact, but I’d enjoy seeing how either of these two tackle the problem.
One person is a mistake – the 1945 movie addresses this, but what if one of the people, preferably Vera Claythorne, hadn’t “killed their way in”?
Reality TV show – There’s been a spate of “ultimate reality show” books and treatments, but this could really play in. Do they know they’re in a show/being broadcast? Are people voting on who Mr/Ms Owen is? Are people voting on who gets bumped off next? This could be a lot of fun!
