desertvixenWell, I managed to get the piece I was working on finished up and posted, with one part still in for beta and 1.5 parts still in progress. So now I can start reading my new hardcover (David Weber, Shadow of Saganami) - probably at work to prevent dying of boredom. Well, read and torture my trainees. :)
My husband has finally entered the certification training for his section at work, so he'll be working on a similar schedule to me once we flip to days in December. Of course, he's still in Georgia, so I'll at least be able to chat with him without inconveniencing either of us too much.
Still waiting to see if DA (Dept of the Army) is going to approve my reenlistment and bonus. Hopefully within the next week or two. Looking forward to the prospect of moving on - not looking forward to the prospect of deciding what stuff goes with me for the 4 months in AZ.
Monday and Tuesday (my "weekend") are going to be busy - briefing and physical therapy appt on Monday morning - and Tuesday I am working a day shift to fill in for someone who got screwed over by their shift supervisor. Sort of looking forward to the preview of what things will be like when we switch over.
It's Sunday, and that means football. Go Lions! (please?)
