Just a note, some fandoms have more stuff in the letter – because some fandoms I have more history of asking for.  It is not a reflection of my affection for a canon – if I asked for it, I love it.  (IE don’t be concerned if we didn’t match on Fandom #2, that’s just the longest one.

I love, love, love Fairy Tail. I'm current on anime and manga, not on 100 year quest. I would just really love an excellent Gajeel/Levy, Laxus/Mira, Elfman/Ever or Levy&Juvia story, whether it be a job, and adventure, or just pure pure fluff. I'm a huge fan of the Grand Magic Games, Tenrou Island and Battle of Fairy Tail arcs, so those are great places to start.

 

This is my fandom where there’s a ton of fanfic, but not much of it really does it for me.

 

I love Gajeel/Levy and their dynamic, and I totally want to see Laxus and Mira get together. Elfman/Ever need a room, badly - especially if it only has one bed. I’m really open to anything here with this crew. I’d be cool with an AU of the Grand Magic Games or Battle of Fairy Tail. And feel free to use all three couples, the more the merrier.

 

And I didn’t request him because I don’t want a story focused on just him, but don’t leave out Pantherlily if you go Levy/Gajeel.

 

Levy & Freed is a new addition to this perennial request, but I did one for them last year and enjoyed the focus on the partnership these two could have. Working this in with Gajeel/Levy could be fun - maybe the 3 of them have to do a job together?

 

For the mystery/procedural tag, I’d like for it to be part of a job – the crazier the better. Maybe some kind of house party or ball?

I don’t have a ton to add here, but I would really really love an excellent Fairy Tail story.  Feel free to go a little smutty if you’re going with Laxus/Mira hooking up – I can totally see these two with a series of hookups and everyone getting into their business because she’s the nosy big sister.

GMG – While I enjoyed the Dragon King Festival, I’d really love a GMG where they actually get to compete without the end of the world being on the menu.  I would be very down for a second generation battle.  Kids of Gajeel/Levy, Natsu/Lucy, Jellal/Erza, Laxus/Mira, Gray/Juvia, Rogue/Sting, Bickslow/Lisanna, Elf/Ever, Cana/Bacchus, Lyon…any old rivalries.

I’d also be down for post-GMG party time for real, not like what we got in the episode. 

I would love a story playing off the doomed timeline we see in Grand Magic Games. I believe we see the doomed GMG timeline in ep 125.  That one little glimpse we get of other-Levy could be built on.

For Levy & Freed, a mission where it’s Gajeel, Levy and Freed would have some entertaining dynamics.

I’m a big Gale shipper, so feel free to keep that in mind.

I’d love a look at how the script mages do their thing, and peculiarlities around it.  They’re support magic, but it is powerful.  Think about Freed’s traps in the Fantasia arc or in the S-Class, and how Levy  and Evergreen both subvert it.  (I’ve just been rewatching that whole arc, and for Freed I also love the scene where he stops fighting to lecture his enemy.  Channel that.). Levy making Gajeel the iron with the heart in it is another one of my faves.

I am totally part of the part of BSC fandom more invested in the parents and wondering if Stoneybrooke is like Peyton Place.  Bonus points if Elizabeth is helping fix them up!  I’m here for how they meet, navigating the challenges of single parent dating, dawning realization by the girls that they are Dating, not just showing up (maybe a little evasion on parents’ part…).  Maureen making the first move because Richard is kind of frozen?  Meet cute?  I just want it.

So last year I read Barrayar-ACC with my teen and we're going to read CVA this year...

 

I just want more. I'd really devoutly love a Winterfair or Midsummer story with society in Vorbarr Sultana. I'd love to see more of all the couples, and Tej and Laisa comparing notes (with or without Cordelia) could be good. Maybe how Drou fits with Laisa? Stories from the Regency.

 

And I'm always here for a good AU.

I think a scenario where Laisa and Tej are experiencing the snowed-in Winterfair would be excellent.  A little formal, a little homey, a little snowed in, fun times had by all.  I love fancy dresses and parties and formal balls and description.  

It’s not a DNW, but I prefer no Miles-centric fic.  Background is fine, but Miles has a tendency to take over, and he’s just not my favorite.  Give me some modern stories of Vorbarr Sultana – I’m a huge Winterfair fan.  I love balls and social events and yes, a little intrigue.  I’m totally here for Alys and Cordelia shaping the future of Barrayar.  I’m here for Laisa and Tej and Delia and Olivia taking some advice…or not taking it.  I want to see more about how Drou interacts with them, especially with Gregor.  I’d also be down for scathing reviews/discussion of Barrayaran period drama (Cordelia and Alys nitpicking portrayals of their lives could be good!) or Cordelia and Alys dropping some truth about how it used to be.  Maybe some updates to Cordelia’s rules in Barrayar? 

The fandom has an established trope of “new” stories developed during the Time of Isolation, and I’d love a spin on maybe Sleeping Beauty or VorCinderella, or the Princess and the Pea, or the Two Caskets.

Drou interacting with Laisa and/or Tej.  Tej & Laisa adjusting to Barrayar – or making Barrayar adjust to them. 

Or, if you like, an encounter with Kareen's ghost.  I have previously received a lovely fic called History (https://archiveofourown.org/works/8117992) that deals with a ghostly visitor.  Generally the ghost encounter is intended for Laisa or Tej but thinking about it, it would work for Delia?  Perhaps the ghost mistakes her for her mother?  Also interested in how the history expert would react…. I have a Duv/Delia story floating in my backbrain, but I am interested in her and Tej. Maybe Delia has a very guilty pleasure of period dramas?

How does Drou interact with Laisa?

Period dramas - Tej starts watching the equivalent of Downton Abbey set during the Time of Isolation or Regency. She's hooked but Ivan and Alys may not be. Alternately, Alys has a guilty habit of watching them (and possibly critiquing them). I'm also down for a treatment of over the top costume drama on these periods. Bonus points if you have characters based on Alys and Padma in it (with her critique). Perhaps she gets Laisa interested as well?  Feel free to have Cordelia put in her contribution as well!  Not much to add here, really.  Obviously those dramas should be lavish fashion and maybe not so lavish history... Feel free to insert Duv Galeni rolling his eyes at popular history.  Think Downton Abbey, or maybe even a little crackier.  Delia has to sneak over and watch with Tej because otherwise Duv will ruin everything with a lecture.  Alys tsking over indelicate subjects.  Cordelia making comments on casting (especially if they cast someone who’s too pretty/conventionally attractive as her and Aral). 

 

 I do want Ivan/Tej in whatever you do if you pick a Vorpatril pair. I love them. So I am clearly Team Vorpatril all the way. I love the period drama one, and have even flirted with writing it myself to no avail. I'm down for all of it.

How do Tej & Aral get along? I feel like he'd like her.

So I clearly have a favorite character in later LMB and it is Tej. Interested in sweet/sexy for her and Ivan. How might Cordelia like her newest "daughter"? Or Aral for that matter? How does Falco deal with them in the long run? I loved the interactions with Alys (and Simon). Do she and Laisa bond over "Barrayarans!"

Duv/Delia – I recently wrote a Drou focused fic and spent way too much time rereading Memory and thinking about this pair.  I’d love to see them in action.

Ivan/Tej – I love these two SO much.  She’s not what I expected but she is so good for him, and they’re so good for each other and I love them.

One Character Writes Tell All - Dono could probably write a KILLER tell-all, or be suspected of it.  I know he is not nominated, but if you wanted to have nominated characters reacting to it, I am Here for That! 

Dish all the dirt and spill all the secrets!  I’d also love one where Laisa and/or Tej are addicted to Barrayaran period drama (think the Vorcrawleys of Downton), with Alys critiquing – but maybe getting into some real stories?

Nechayev & Georgiou - I don't care what time travel shenanigans this involves, I think these two would be awesome (if you some how roll Number One, Beverly Crusher, and Uhura in here I would read that EVERY DAY)

 

Anthea & Venetia - I would love for these two to meet post-canon (preferably not at one of Venetia's orgies) because I think they have some similarities.

 

Beverly Crusher & Leonard Bones - Definitely down for some time travel shenanigans

 

Pike & Ael - The SNW crew interacts with Ael and company - whether you decide she exists in the SNW verse or some sort of dimensional deal (feel free to include the Enterprise's big 3 in that if you DO). I think it could be very interesting.

 

He-Man/Casta (either variant) - I just love these two, especially since Casta is interested in Adam, not He-Man.

 

Joe/Kimber - This would be interesting, especially since this Joe does sing - undercover with a band, perhaps?

 

Zarana/Eric - She is totally playing him, not falling for him.

 

Nancy & Cherry - Feel free to make these two modern or in their time period.

 

Romelle & Fala - I think these two would really work well together.

 

So allow me to tell you, I am TOTALLY in for a cracky crossover.  Dimension crosstravel, portals temporarily open, weird super alien slams them together in a cage.  I love crossovers.  You could also include Elizabeth Shelby on the Trek ones.

For the Ael specific one, I know the timelines do not work.  But I would really love to see it.  Maybe they think they have found another mirror universe, and instead end up in the bookverse. 

Crusher & Bones - I got a lovely story for Space Swap where he is an instructor at the Academy so for this one let us get our time travel on!

I love the He-Man/Casta ship, and would be interested to see it play out in a Revelations style story.  I love seeing the difference between how Adam acts on Eternia and Etheria.  He-Man | Adam (He-Man MOTU)/Castaspella (She-Ra 1985), See the Revelations ections of the letter for more ideas – if I suggested it there, I’d love it here.  I love He-Man and Castaspella together and think it could be excellent to have more.  Or if you’re down for a good AU, Adam gets taken instead of Adora, go crazy.

Anthea & Venetia (and honestly, if you want to drag some other heroines in, I am partial to Jenny Chawleigh, Ancilla Trent, Nell from the Toll-Gate) – their interactions after escaping selfish-ass male relatives and getting the husbands they so richly deserve, I think they would like each other.

Romelle and Fala have some similar back story tragedy, and some similar fight.  I think it would be fun,

Nancy befriending Cherry Ames could be fun – feel free to go yellow spine or modern.

Joe & Kimber – Spawned from the part where Shaun Cassidy plays Joe Hardy.  Have fun.

Sparring as foreplay – they hint at it in the first episode, but I feel like it is definitely a thing for them.  This is also a great place for “That one scene from canon, but make it sexier”.

For the villain and hero one, I'm thinking about Cindarr (even though his "villain" status is a little loose IMO)

Basically what it says.  I love that the gruff, stern guy got the girl instead of the usual hero character.  I’m totally here for the two of them kicking some ass, getting down, meeting alternate version of themselves, having romantic sexy times.   I’m easy to please on this one.  Feel free to use one of the cold related prompts, and feel free to turn up the steam.

Villain and hero agree – For this, I think it would be interesting to see a scenario where the 2 of them have to work with Cindarr, and have a little bonding post mission.

Kneeling – I like this one for the two of them because they’re both fairly fit, although I feel quite sure he can hold her up.

Check out The Rainbow Warrior because that hits a ton of my loves for the original canon, and if you could capture it for Revelations, I am in.

Let me tell you about the squee I had when they confirmed Duncan and the Sorceress were much closer.  If you want to create a little past interlude for them I am here.  Play off Marlena & Duncan and Adam’s secret in this one as well.

So I know a lot of original MOTU fans were not thrilled with this one, but I definitely wanted MORE.

I am totally here for the idea that Teela becomes the next champion of Eternia, because I kind of felt like that was where the storyline was taking us, although I wasn't expecting the turn the story took. But I also wanted more about the interpersonal relations that just got hinted at.

I really wanted more about the interpersonal pieces.  We get the searing moment where Marlena reveals that she KNOWS Adam is He-Man, the moment where Randor learns (I would be totally down for introspection here).  I’d love to see Marlena interacting with Sorceress or Duncan, before or after – how does she feel about Adam being the Champion?  I’d be interested in how she feels about Duncan KNOWING and keeping it from them – betrayal, maybe? 

Or can we talk about the part where the Sorceress tells Teela that she brought them there so she could see her one last time and we kind of NEVER GO BACK TO THAT?  Go back to that.

Or Teela becomes Champion in Adam’s place (although please resurrect him)?

Or feel free to crossover with the original He-Man or original She-Ra.  (There was a fic already starting
where Teela, Andra and Evil-Lyn go to 1985 Etheria to find Adora and I am 5000% here for more of THAT!, unfortunately the author appears to have left AO3)

I like Teela/Andra but I don’t want the fics to focus on it – background or brief glimpses are fine but I don’t need 5K words of their relationship.  But I see and am here for the ship.  I love Andra’s reactions and how she gets brought into the family.  (Just not a huge Teela fan, although I like her better in this – she’s pissed and she’s entirely right to be.  The people she trusts most have lied to her continually – especially if you read the prequel GN.)

I love Adam and He-Man.  I love how he’s conflicted, and how Marlena KNOWS.  The whole Rainbow Warrior episode in MOTU, and the moment where she tells him that a mother knows what her son is capable of – that’s one of my favorite movies in the whole series.  (Bonus points if you have jokes about comic book characters being what tips Marlena off). Or the moment where Adora is kidnapped and Marlena is tearfully asking him for help.  The feels, every time.  Or a fic where they visit Earth and Marlena gets to see her home?

I prefer to ship Adam with Castaspella, and I love seeing the difference between how Adam acts on Eternia and Etheria.  I’d love to see her figure out his secret.  Or an AU where Adam was taken, not Adora?

I just want MORE for this tiny new fandom. Maybe some sort of Day of the Dead type experience, or happier memories pre-canon, or ghosts.

I enjoy when this fandom revels in its Eighties roots, so if you want to involve Unsolved Mysteries or some such, go for it. 

What might Stormer & Aja bond over besides Craig?

 Canon Divergence – The Glitter and Gold arc has the perfect missed opportunity to have Jerrica tell Rio, right after he saves her from the gang Eric hires to destroy the records. How would that go (especially after their fight) and how would it change things?  I have received a good story for this one but would prefer a little more serious treatment of it.

Clue Fusion or Snowed In at Haunted Hotel – Both of these scenarios are ripe for Eric Raymond as blackmailer turned dead body.  Feel free to be over the top 80s here!

Craig Phillips win – How would this change dynamics?  Raya is an okay character, but they don’t do a lot to flesh her out, where as Craig would bring some definite tension!  I ship Craig/Aja and Kimber/Stormer.  I like the Kimber/Stormer relationship, but would prefer not focusing on it in this one - feel free to have them in the background though. I am interested in how Aja and Craig's relationship might play out if he won.

Jacqui lives – How would this change dynamics? She can be alive at the time of the story or not, but not have her go down in that plane crash. I like to think she’d be a good addition, and see through all of Eric Raymond’s BS. Feel free to kill Emmett instead…or not.

Riot/Stormer just strikes me as having interesting possibilities, since they are both the serious musician/creator in their group.

Couple of ideas. I'd love a story focusing on relationships using Aja and Craig's wedding (holograms of the bride, misfits of the groom?), or Danse's search for (and finding) her mother, or something to do with Morvania. 

If you want to write 5K words of totally outrageous 1980s cartoon soap opera, this is the request for you.  Flashy, over the top – I am here for it.  If you want to do an AU where Jacqui is still alive, roll with it.  If you want to have Aja wear her veil or something, I am here for it. 

I’ve been wanting a deeper look into Danse’s search for her mother – maybe an Unsolved Mystery or something?   

I don't want a story focused on Kimber/Stormer but definitely accept them as a background pairing!  I think Riot/Stormer would be interesting because in their two groups they are both the serious musicians.  Maybe working on something (with platonic Kimber & Stormer?) and it gets steamy late at night?  Sharing sensitive stories? 

But on this one feel free to channel the 80s.

I'd really love something lush that shows a royal court our adventurers come upon. Maybe Eric or Sheila are kidnapped by a princess/prince? Maybe show us Ramoud's court?

There have to have been other parties that DM brought through. What happened to them? Are they still trapped in the Realm? Might they join forces?

How long are they in the Realm vs. how long are they gone in the real world? Canon suggests that no one has even noticed they're gone.

I’m a huge Eric/Sheila shipper.  They just work for me, and I’m a big fan of them separately.

I really liked the potential in Presto/Varla.  Give me more.

Pretty much what it says.  If you want to channel a fairy tale or something similar (Sleeping Beauty or perhaps Princess and the Pea) go for it.   A fairy tale telling of the Hall of Bones?  A fairy tale the kids have to unravel?

For how long they’ve been gone -  I am good for either side.   

I’m totally down for 1000+ words of description, scene-setting fluff.  Or a Back to the Realm story.  I love Return to the Realm stories.

I do love Ramoud so please include him.  He would be a great force for exposition, but I love him and Eric together.
