My (updated!) general preferences on fanfic are here.

Blanket DNW: nominated character death, cruelty/death to animals/children, extreme graphic/sexual violence

 

So first I have to confess that I missed nominations due to Annoying Real Life, so a lot of last year’s letter is not helpful.

 

If you’re going with the wedding angle, I will happily read 1000 words of characters debating decisions and making plans.  Feel free to go full-on fluff and/or logistics.  A little drama can be good (if you read Nora Roberts’ Bride Quartet, you know my jam) but happy endings, please!

 

If you’re going with the married life part, I love quiet intimacy, the jokes we develop living inside each other’s skin, and the part where marriage is one long string of driving your partner crazy.

This is one of my fundamental ships. Put them together. If you go with the time travel tag, make sure it gets put back, please?

 

I’d love to see how these two end up together finally.  I am not watching Picard and not a fan of the TNG movies, so roll with the show.  I’d be happy to see these two at someone else’s wedding as well (paging Will/Deanna!). Dancing is a natural on this one.

 

I can see these two moving time to be with each other.

I love either of these two couples, and I love looking at what's going on with the parents. Fluffy is very very good here.

Maureen/Richard: I can see them at someone else's wedding, or at their own.

Elizabeth/Watson: I'd love a fancy splashy 25th anniversary party for them (to make up for not having a fancy fancy wedding) with all the kids and spouses and of course Kristy orchestrates something crazy and perfect. Or maybe a second honeymoon trip?

I am all about BSC wedding stories. Fluff, details, the wedding Watson and Elizabeth might have had if not for time considerations, Kristy having over-the-top elaborate plans, or intimate little studies of the wedding day. You can't go too fluffy on this one. I've written 42 BSC fics and 13 of them deal with weddings.

Fic at the wedding, wedding preparations, all the little rituals that go into a wedding.  I’d prefer no one ran off to Vegas (although considering it is always entertaining) but feel free to have people be a little crazy.

The pregnancy one can work for either couple.  As someone who had a late pregnancy (13 years between kids), I’m totally down for them having uncertainty about the whole situation.

In-Laws could be super fun with this one.

So for this one I'd really love to see dealing with in-laws, as you can see. If the marriage gets erased, please put it back?

 

I can completely see these two moving time to be with each other. 

 

For in-laws, I’m more interested in seeing Uhura dealing with Spock’s family, especially his father.  I get why Spock and Sarek have issues (and a human daughter-in-law is probably not going to help) but I want to see things improve.  I’d love to see these two get married on a beach (if you read Vulcan’s Glory, you’re on the right page)
