Sorry this is late, but I've been AFK due to family issues.  I had to complete my signup at last minute before I was in a land of little Internet access.

My general preferences are here.  Generally for this exchange I am 100% down for fluff, whether sweet or sexy.  Whatever you write, I'm going to love it!

Fairy Tail 

Levy McGarden/Gajeel Redfox, Laxus Dreyar/Mirajane Strauss, Juvia Lockser & Gajeel Redfox

There’s a lot of things I love about Fairy Tail but Levy/Gajeel are my absolute favorite.  They are my Fairy Tail OTP.  I always want more – sweet, sexy (you cannot tell me they’re not banging like a screen door in a West Texas breeze), canon, AU – just give me more Gale!  There’s not much with them I wouldn’t read.

I love Gajeel/Levy, the whole “opposites attract and then drive each other crazy” theme, how they complement each other.  Mira and Laxus are both forces to be reckoned with – imagine them together!

I love the dynamic Juvia and Gajeel have.  PLEASE feel free to have Gajeel "encourage" Gray to treat Juvia right.

I love the dynamic Levy and Gajeel have with each other, especially when she has to say his name in the warning tone.  I also love how Juvia and Gajeel have a bond (being ex-Phantom), and I’m totally down with something that combines the two.  Or Levy and Juvia having some bonding time.  And Pantherlily!  I love him, especially when he’s making sure no one bothers them.  I’m also a total fan of Rusky Boz’s artwork for this couple.

Laxus/Mira - sweet or sexy, and I'm totally down for getting together on the downlow

Laxus and Mira make an excellent power couple, and I think they complement each other well.  I also see them hiding it, and it backfiring, because Mira is always in everyone’s business.  (If you somehow want to riff off Elf/Ever for this pair, who I did not nominate, GO RIGHT AHEAD.). I really enjoy Laxus – he’s hot, and I love his redemption arc – and I love that he’s a snarky bastard.  And I think Mira could wipe the floor with him if need be.  There’s a fanfic where Laxus is getting teased for not knowing what a unison raid is (basically a magic team up) and Mira points out that he’s never needed to do one… what the two of them could do together is a little scary.

If you want to do something AU, either the S-Class or GMG arcs are good.  But I’m totally in for romantic sweet FLUFF.

One of the fandoms of my heart.

Marlena/Randor being sexy or sweet, maybe pre-Adam?

This.  Just the sound of the Filmation opening used to send me running to the living room, and I still enjoy it today.  Adam has a lot of nuance, and Marlena is a badass, but I love the Rainbow Warrior episode where Adam realizes that she knows.  How does this affect things going forward?  (I’ve also enjoyed a fanfic where Adam asks his mother how she could possibly realize it, and her remark is essentially “comic books, let me introduce you.”). He-Man and Marlena – The whole part where he realizes that she KNOWS, the part where he almost slips and calls her Mother in the Rainbow Warrior episode?  That’s one of my all-time favorite moments, so take it and run with it!

Even though Randor is hard on his son, I enjoy his vibe with Marlena.

I’d be down for a story where we see Adam interacting with each of his parents.

For the Heyer requests I like to imagine that all of the Regency era characters mill around in the same pool, meet up with each other, and help each other out.  Maybe set the story at a house party?  The Season in London?  Jenny could meet Anthea and realize that she could have done much worse on the in-law draw.  Perhaps Jenny could host a party at Fontley?  Feel free to mix these all together.

I think either Anthea or Jenny could put Nell at ease – Anthea because I think she would get Nell better and Jenny because being a capital hostess is her thing.

Tiffany Wield/Claude Darracott – I see Tiffany trying to play Claude after she’s been burned by some more quick-witted types who see her for what she is.

Poirot & Nancy Drew - I just want to see them together.  Poirot & Nancy Drew meet.  Is she in London or is he in River Heights?  How do they mesh?  Feel free to bring in 1930s original Nancy.

Zarana/Eric Raymond -  Hate the players, not the game.  This is definitely one of those where they’re trying to scam each other…but could be good.  Please indulge in the 80s here!

Joe Hardy/Jessica Wakefield – Hardy Boys working on a case in Sweet Valley?  These two seem like they’d make an excellent fling.

I find Kyouya and Haruhi an intriguing pair, especially how they play off of Tamaki.  Kyouya is so cool, but Haruhi wasn't born yesterday. If you've watched the bloopers for the anime series, I love the ones from the ball at the end between Haruhi and Kyouya. (Now here's the best!). I like to see how they make the threesome work and how they handle Tamaki.  (Last year I requested just the two of them, but didn’t this year.  If you wanted to riff off the bloopers mentioned above, PLEASE FEEL FREE.  Don’t let me stop you!  They both have that analytical streak that I really enjoy, and I think Haruhi is smart enough to figure and outfigure both boys.)

One romantic couple and one surprise couple. More in letter!

I’d really like something Jem/Faith pre-WW1 or after he comes home - I love how they interact with each other.  Post-canon (Dr. Jem and Nurse Faith!), or Rainbow Valley era (realizing/falling) are all good.

I love Faith/Jem.  Love the vibe where they’re both the oldest in their family, and the personality that comes with that.  I love that Faith is no blushing blossom, but a vivid rose.  I’m down for all the WW1 related stuff, but I’m also in for their adventures at Redmond.  Do they have a better college romance than Anne and Gilbert?  Or a couples’ interlude in Rainbow Valley would be lovely.  Or for the post WWI stuff, maybe her helping Jem deal with being back at school and the various losses?

I love Cornelia Bryant and the whole mic drop moment when she comes to tell Anne she’s marrying Marshall Elliott.  I’d love a scene between the two of them!

Pregnant Beekeeper/Controlling Husband & Bees – This has been deleted from AITA but can be found on the AITA Twitter (https://twitter.com/AITA_reddit/status/1220800379614646273).  He gives away her bees!  Maybe the bees are magical.  Maybe she is secretly a bee priestess.  Maybe they all come back and “take care” of him…. For this challenge, feel free to focus more on the fluffy aspect of the bond with her bees.

Desert Nomad: Pretty open here - maybe the oasis spirit controls who can find the oasis? Maybe they need to meet some sort of criteria?

Would prefer to have spirit be female, nomad be male OR if you want to make it a gen prompt, they can both be female.

Not much to add, but I’m definitely interested in the aspect where the oasis spirit controls who finds it.  Can only someone who is worthy find it?  Does it provide a refuge?

 

I’m a desert person, so I appreciate descriptions and bringing out the beauty – maybe the oasis has a superbloom going on?
