Trick or Treat 2020

Sorry this is late!  It's been another one of those weeks/months/well it's 2020, need I say more?

It's Halloween!  Bring on the ghosties and urban legends - feel free to fit urban legends to fandoms.  I'm partial to vanishing hitchhikers and killers calling from INSIDE the house...

My general preferences are here.

Overall DNW: extreme violence/gore, sexual violence, cruelty to animals/children, nominated character death - any exceptions will be noted on the specific request

I do opt into Battle of the Bands.

Haunted Mansion Ride 

Werecat Lady, Medusa, April-December, Madame Leota 

I'd love something about these awesome ladies of the Haunted Mansion - maybe before they got there?

I prefer the Werecat Lady to appear in her guise as a black panther (see my letter for picture).

How did they get to the Haunted Mansion?  Are there other Greek myths haunting the place?  Do they stick together?  I just want to know.  For April-December, is it similar to Dorian Gray – did she get extended youth but now is trapped as an old crone?

Sort of an anti-Battle of the Bands, but does the music in the Haunted Mansion drive any of them batty?

Ouran High School Host Club - Anime  

Kurakano Momoka, Soga Kazukiyo, Fujioka Haruhi, Hitachiin Hikaru, Hitachiin Kaoru 

So, "Until It Becomes a Pumpkin" is one of my very favorite episodes - I'd love to see what happens in later years, especially since Haruhi is outed as a girl. Totally on board for more episode-like hijinks. Does Kazukyio get over being such a coward?

I need more!  Does class 5A get Nekozawa and the others back?  Please note, I do not read the manga (didn’t care for the style) so anime only please!  Costumes and scaring people in teams are great, and I’m down for an actual real ghost (maybe one they don’t realize is a ghost until it’s over).

 

Fairy Tail 

Levy McGarden, Juvia Lockser, Gajeel Redfox, Laxus Dreyar, Mirajane Strauss, Gray Fullbuster

One of the things I love about FT is all the shippy potential - so while you don't have to use everyone, please at least use them in pairs - Gajeel/Levy, Mira/Laxus, Gray/Juvia.

I'd really like something fun for this - "ghost" scares or haunted houses or scavenger hunts or jump scares to induce a kiss, or vanishing hitchhikers.

Fun, sexy, and a little scary – jump scares, costumes, etc – go for it.  Costumes and scaring people in teams are great, and I’m down for an actual real ghost (maybe one they don’t realize is a ghost until it’s over).

I am current on the anime, so have fun!

I love Ballroom Blitz for this crew.

 

Miss Marple - Agatha Christie 

Dolly Bantry, Cherry Baker, Jane Marple

I'd love to see Cherry help Miss Marple (and maybe Dolly Bantry) solve a "ghostly" mystery.

Alternatively, maybe Cherry has an encounter with Miss Marple's own ghost, who needs a little corporeal help to solve one last mystery?

Either of these is equally good.  I love Cherry, and how she treats Miss Marple – respectfully but helps her do what she needs, and refuses to let people wrap her in cotton wool.

Obviously in this one, I am okay with Miss Marple dying (in her sleep, possibly with an unfinished knitting project) but would prefer that her death be a natural and expected one.  No dwelling on it though.

 

The Bobbsey Twins - Laura Lee Hope 

Dinah Johnson, Nellie Parks, Nan Bobbsey, Mary Bobbsey

All 4 characters do not need to appear, but I'd like Nan and Nellie

Maybe Danny Rugg plays some Halloween pranks and Nan gets him back

A ghostly experience? Phantom Passenger?

Pretty much all of this.  I love the idea of pranks and/or scary stories…or maybe Danny’s ghost prank isn’t as fake as he thinks it is…

 

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 

Adam | He-Man, Marlena, Randor, Queen Elmora

So I'm looking for one of two things:

1 - Marlena tries to bring a little bit of Earth to Eternia with Halloween. Roll with it.

2 - Queen Elmora from the She-Demon of Phantos episode - what if He-Man hadn't been able to convince her. Have fun.

Skeletor and his crew aren’t requested, but feel free to involve them in Halloween as well!

This could be an opportunity for Adam to loosen up a bit (picturing kids dressed up as He-Man, maybe?), Marlena decorating the palace, sly hints about costumes including characters who have double lives (superheroes like Batman or Wonder Woman), general tolerance for the queen’s strange customs.

For Elmora the tone can be a lot darker. 

Hunger Games Trilogy - Suzanne Collins 

Rue, Mr. Everdeen, Maysilee Donner, Madge Undersee, Alma Coin, Primrose Everdeen, Haymitch Abernathy, Katniss Everdeen, Mrs. Everdeen

So many of the characters are haunted - make that literal. It can be sweet or not-sweet.

All characters do not need to appear.

If you ever saw the Babylon 5 episode Day of the Dead, that’s kind of exactly what I’m looking for in this request.  Or a more traditional ghost story (like a vanishing hitchhiker) would also be good (especially with Maysilee or Madge, maybe set in a future period?). I’m good with going forward enough that the characters are not alive.

While you do not need to use all of the characters, I do have some pairs in mind.

Mr. Everdeen - Either Katniss or her mother (Maybe Prim appears with him?)

Primrose - Same as above.

Maysilee - Haymitch  (or she would make an awesome hitchhiker ghost)

Rue - Katniss (Maybe Prim appears with her?)

Alma Coin - Katniss or Haymitch

Madge - Katniss or Haymitch

This is my big one for Battle of the Bands - obviuously “Hanging Tree”would be an excellent pick, and I also like “Ghost in this House” by Shenandoah for several of them.

Nancy/Frank and sexy sweet Halloween time. Costumes are fun, case is optional.

This is really all on this one.  A mystery or a Halloween party or a mystery at a Halloween party?  It’s all good.  Secret passages are optional.

 

Jem and the Holograms (Cartoon) 

Jem | Jerrica Benton, Astral, Rio Pacheco, Rory "Riot" Llewelyn, Vivien "Video" Montgomery, Giselle "Danse" Dvorak

I was doing a rewatch and came on the episode where Astral appears - something with a magic show would be fun

Also, Jerrica/Jem and Halloween seems like a match

Maybe Xanthos provides the event? Feel free to include him.

I'm not averse to trying on the Jerrica/Riot ship...

Maybe revisit the Magic Island thing from “Music is Magic”?  Or “Trick or Techrat?”Or even the Mardi Gras episode?  Feel free to have fun with the tuxedo coat-leotard-fishnets-heels outfits.

Battle of the Bands is obviously anything in the show.
