I cannot tell you how much I love this cartoon, and how much of my love centers on Adam and Marlena. I'm down for whatever story you want to tell about these two. Marlena keeping a journal of her life on Eternia? Adam trying to get advice on his issues? Marlena trying to get advice on his or her issues?

I love Adam and He-Man.  I love how he’s conflicted, and how Marlena KNOWS.  The whole Rainbow Warrior episode, and the moment where she tells him that a mother knows what her son is capable of – that’s one of my favorite movies in the whole series.  (Bonus points if you have jokes about comic book characters being what tips Marlena off)

 

I prefer to ship Adam with Castaspella, and I love seeing the difference between how Adam acts on Eternia and Etheria.  Or maybe a visit to Earth?  I’d love to see her figure out his secret.

 

For Marlena/Randor I like the whole “your perfect woman literally fell out of the sky” deal.  How does Marlena deal with the new place – how does he help her?

So I'm super interested in the period after ACC and what might be considered the next generation of Vorbarr Sultana. I love Cordelia and Alys in their roles as advisors/arbiters, but I really want to see what happens next as Barrayar modernizes.

It’s not a DNW, but I prefer no Miles-centric fic.  Background is fine, but Miles has a tendency to take over, and he’s just not my favorite.  Give me some modern stories of Vorbarr Sultana – I’m a huge Winterfair fan.  I love balls and social events and yes, a little intrigue.  I’m totally here for Alys and Cordelia shaping the future of Barrayar.  I’m here for Laisa and Tej and Delia and Olivia taking some advice…or not taking it.  I want to see more about how Drou interacts with them, especially with Gregor.  I’d also be down for scathing reviews/discussion of Barrayaran period drama (Cordelia and Alys nitpicking portrayals of their lives could be good!) or Cordelia and Alys dropping some truth about how it used to be.

 

The fandom has an established trope of “new” stories developed during the Time of Isolation, and I’d love a spin on maybe Sleeping Beauty or VorCinderella, or the Princess and the Pea.

Dono could probably write a KILLER tell-all, or be suspected of it.  Dish all the dirt and spill all the secrets!

He-Man | Adam (He-Man MOTU)/Castaspella (She-Ra 1985), Marlena (He-Man MOTU) & Adora (She-Ra 1985) – See the MOTU section of the letter for more.  I love He-Man and Castaspella together and think it could be excellent to have more.  I’m also interested in how Marlena and Adora interact – does Marlena suspect that her son is not the only one with a secret identity?  Or if you’re down for a good AU, Adam gets taken instead of Adora, go crazy.  I’m interested in how Adora interacts with Eternia, but mostly with how she and Marlena interact.

 

J.R. Ewing (Dallas) & Angela Channing (Falcon Crest) – When I watched these as a kid with my grandmother on Friday night, I always secretly wanted a crossover showdown between these two.  My money is on Angela.  I know the run of Falcon Crest ended with Angela either in a coma or dead (due to the actress’s actual situation) but ignore that and “reboot” it as they did with Dallas 2012.

 

Jane Marple (Marple) & Maud Silver (Miss Silver Mysteries - Patricia Wentworth) – I feel like these two together could be so good (and they would be good for epistolary as well!). There would be no escape from these two ladies, but I would also be down for a story where they knit together and trade stories.  Maybe a stay at a resort?

 

Jennifer Hart (Hart to Hart) & Jessica Fletcher (Murder She Wrote) – This could be interesting.  Bring Jonathan along as well, but I feel like these two could be excellent together solving crime.

So this is my "jerks from AITA" request. Both of these at their heart are controlling men who get rid of something that their partner love and I would like to have revenge.

I would prefer less graphic, more creepy if death of deserving characters is shown - but I am a-ok with either of the men dying. But maybe being haunted/traumatized to the end of their days would be good as well (being stalked by angry bees? A fear of climbing plants?).

So what I’d really like is for there to be consequences.  Man is chased by bees for no reason.  Man found dead in pond where he drowned all the plants.

If you pick the plant one, I’d really like for the great-grandma’s ivy to just reappear to the girlfriend once she’s safe.  I just got an excellent story for this in OWO but more is good!

For the bees, maybe they’re her guardian spirit?

Either way: payback please!

Desert Spirit/Nomad:

 

Pretty open here - I'm interested in the idea that the oasis spirit controls who can find the oasis? Maybe they need to meet some sort of criteria? Can only someone who is worthy find it? Does it provide a refuge? Would prefer to have spirit be female, nomad be male; if you want to make it a gen prompt, they can both be female. I’m a desert person, so I appreciate descriptions and bringing out the beauty – maybe the oasis has a superbloom going on? 

 

Ghost Cat & Person It Leads to Abandoned Kittens:

 

So for the ghost cat, I have two thoughts. In the past, I've envisioned this one as the ghost of the mother cat leading someone to her kittens, and I am down for that. But I'm also here for the idea of the ghost of the person's recently deceased cat leading them to some kittens who need their help. (Black kittens maybe?) I am good with the person realizing from jump that the cat is a ghost.  Obviously the kittens weren't abandoned out of the goodness of someone's heart, but no violence towards them and no dwelling on the dead mother meeting her fate.

So before you ask, I am a big Jenny Jinya fan, and love both the black cat ones ( https://jenny-jinya.tumblr.com/post/189270205740/full-and-finished-short-story-of-the-black-cat#notes) and the “Grief” one about losing one’s beloved pet (https://jenny-jinya.tumblr.com/post/619005580081840128/this-is-about-goodbye-short-story-about-grief-i#notes).  They sort of played into my thoughts about the ghost cat.  Because not only do the kittens need help, but the person does too.

Kindly Ghost & Child Lost in the Woods (Original Work):

For the kindly ghost, I'd prefer a female ghost helping a lost girl, but am okay with a lost boy too. I would prefer perhaps that they don't realize that the ghost is a ghost. If you want to go with a vanishing hitchhiker style ghost, I am here for that.  For the lost child, why is the ghost there?  I like a young ghost, maybe a lost hiker or even a Girl Scout, but I love that the person being helped doesn’t know they’re a ghost until someone pulls the “oh yeah, we’ve heard this story before” routine.  I love vanishing hitchhikers.

Harvest Goddess/King/Queen (Original Work):

I want something dealing with the whole ritual sex between king and queen as stand-in for harvest goddess to ensure a good harvest. It's supposed to be symbolic, but what if the harvest goddess did actually come down? Whether or not anyone except the king and queen realizes that she is present is optional. I like the idea of the goddess actually coming down – perhaps she likes the look of the king or he reminds her of someone else?  I’d prefer she be attracted to the king – perhaps a reminder of her consort?

Lonely Old Lady Ghost & Child She Befriends (Original Work):

For the lonely old lady ghost & child, allusions to abusive environment are fine, explicit descriptions are DNW. Or perhaps the child is an Anne Shirley type?

Alien Who Thinks That Cats Are the Species to Contact When You Visit Earth & Siamese Cat:

Well, aren't they? The focus in this is obviously on the alien, but don't forget to make the cat a cat. Judging the humans based on how they treat the cats is also, obviously, welcome. (Just don't get too depressing...)

Haunted House & The Ghosts who Inhabit It (OW):

I’m really open on this one.  Are some of the ghosts afterlife versions of some of these prompts?  Are they like the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland?  (I’m partial to the Werecat Lady and Madame Leota). The vanishing hitchhiker can be a temporary resident, or maybe work in the old lady and kindly ghost for someone who strays too near?  Feel free to pore through my fandoms and gifts and make whoever you need a ghost!

Vanishing Hitchhiker:

I love vanishing hitchhikers and the people they interact with, so have at it.  I love the Twilight Zone episode The Hitchhiker, I love Resurrection Mary, I love the Phantom Passenger that Needs a Ride Home.  Go for it!

Aftermath of the book.

 

As you can see, I like an emphasis on the female of the species and I like the different females in the book.  There’s a few takes I like.

 

1.     Does Mrs. Dearly keep a journal or social media?  A take where they’re influencers? 

2.     I really love the White Persian Cat, and would love to see her blossom.  I like Tib as well, but I’m super interested in how WPC deals with the other females. 

3.     Sir Charles – I would love for a visit with him, and love the part where he thinks Pongo and Missis are ghosts.  I assume the Dalmation dynasty at Hell Hall has attracted some newspaper articles. Especially if he mentions his ghost story and she almost gets the real meaning.

I had intended to request Gajeel/Levy then jacked up the nomination.  So instead most of the requests center on Laxus.  I’m here for all of the interactions – romantic, friendships, teasing each other, and yes, scoring off each other.  I would be 1000% down for FT r/Relationships and r/AITA, whether new or canonical.  Grand Magic Games on social media would also be worth the price of admission.

 

Elf/Ever – Get a room already.

Freed & Levy – Their magic is very similar, and I like to see them cooperate (or take each other on).

Juvia & Gajeel – Initial outsiders who get accepted, still see them as sharing a bond.

Thunder Legion – I’m here for all of their overblown self-images.

Laxus – Conflicts abound!  I love his redemption arc, especially Grand Magic Games.

Laxus/Mirajane – Sweet or sexy (I like sexy) – also other people ibnterfering with them hooking up because Mira gets so nosy.
