This letter is largely a retread of last year's, because I asked for a lot of the same stuff.

 

 

Vulcan's Glory - ST TOS Novels  

Christopher Pike/Number One (Vulcan's Glory), Number One & Spock, Spock/T'Pris

 

Vulcans in Starfleet (Vulcan's Glory)

 

I loved this book, and I am a big fan of Pike's Enterprise.

 

Vulcans in Starfleet - The book makes Spock one of 11 Vulcans, not the only one. Expand on this.

 

Spock/T'Pris - I really want an AU where she lives. How does it change Spock? How does his father react? What happens when Kirk takes the Enterprise? How does it impact Amok Time and Spock's relationship with his parents?

 

I'm also a huge Pike/Number One fan, so if you'd like to have that be background, go for it! Or make it the main piece and Spock/T'Pris the background.

 

Spock & Number One - their relationship intrigues me

Pretty much what it says on the tin here.  I really enjoyed this book, and I really liked T'Pris.  So, maybe she gets to live.

Or, if you're not a fan of going AU, I'd be interested in Spock & Number One interacting, about this or other events.

 

 

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe

Eternia makes contact with Earth

So I was sort of expecting to have to defend this one, because He-Man and Space Swap?

 

But the facts are pretty clear.

 

Marlena Glenn is an astronaut from Earth who crashes on Eternia, falls for the king, and never goes home.

 

There is an episode where Eternia and Earth make contact, but it's not the best. So give me a better one! Maybe some sort of rover ends up on Eternia (yes, I would totally love a happy ending for a little space machine whose battery is running low and it's dark) and this leads to them making contact? I'd love to see Marlena at least visit home.

I know no one had offered this as of my last look, but I think it would be wonderful.  Especially for little space machines.

Vulcans in Starfleet

 

1. Crews leaving stuff behind - Watched "A Piece of the Action" lately, and made me wonder what it would be like for other stuff. Like, I don't know, Georgette Heyer or Jane Austen, or Agatha Christie, or Downton Abbey.

 

2. Ghost Ship UL - either an encounter with a ghost ship or just the story. Feel free to have someone telling Spock and him dismissing it or being "fascinated".

 

3. Vulcans in SF - Clearly Spock can't be the only one. Tell me about them!

 

McCoy apparently is not in the tag set by himself, but I would love for any away teams to include Spock, Uhura, and McCoy

I would so greatly love a Christie or Regency world - go as tropey as you like.  Or haunted derelict ships where McCoy is all paranoid and Spock is busy being logical, until logic doesn't explain what they find...

Discovering a lost colony

1. Period dramas - Tej starts watching the equivalent of Downton Abbey set during the Time of Isolation or Regency. She's hooked but Ivan and Alys may not be. Alternately, Alys has a guilty habit of watching them (and possibly critiquing them). I'm also down for a treatment of over the top costume drama on these periods. Bonus points if you have characters based on Alys and Padma in it (with her critique).

 

2. Discovering a lost colony - I'd like to see Ivan and Tej be sent in their diplomatic role. Have fun.

 

3. Padma - more about him in stories to Ivan and Tej.

4. Ivan/Tej - I do want this in whatever you do. I love them.

So I am clearly Team Vorpatril all the way.  I love the period drama one, and have even flirted with writing it myself to no avail.  I'm down for all of it.  Feel free to have Cordelia put in her contribution as well!
