For Chocolate Box, I do prefer sweet and/or romantic to angsty stuff.

I am completely on-board with Valentine themes, first dates, double dates (whether you go sweet or catastrophic) and romance in general.

Cana & Gildarts - father/daughter time, would love fix-it where Gildarts isn't an idiot and Cana tells him earlier

Thunder Legion - being their usual selves, feel free to combine with Laxus/Mira or Elf/Ever (or both...)

I love the dynamic Levy and Gajeel have with each other, especially when she has to say his name in the warning tone.  I also love how Juvia and Gajeel have a bond (being ex-Phantom), and I’m totally down with something that combines the two.  Or Levy and Juvia having some bonding time.

Jellal and Erza have a ridiculous “wary of each other/don’t deserve each other” vibe, and I’d love it if you put them in a situation where they have to acknowledge it.

Cana & Gildarts – pretty much what it says on the tin, although for them I would love an AU where she does become S-class and tells him.  Also, why didn’t Makarov tell Gildarts?  You can’t tell me he didn’t know.

Laxus and Mira make an excellent power couple, and I think they complement each other well.  I also see them hiding it, and it backfiring, because Mira is always in everyone’s business.

Elfman and Evergreen are totally NOT a couple.  If you want to riff off the scene in Grand Magic Games where she is using him as a pillow, go for it.

Thunder Legion – Do Bickslow and Freed engage in a little teasing/matchmaking of either Strauss-based couple?  I’m down. I don’t ship Freed/Laxus, but I think Freed does.

If you want to do something AU, either the S-Class or GMG arcs are good.  But I’m totally in for romantic sweet FLUFF.

   

Anne of Green Gables - L. M. Montgomery 

Jem Blythe/Faith Meredith (Anne of Green Gables - Montgomery)

Jem/Faith pre-WW1, during the War, after he comes home - I'm down for all of it. I love how they interact with each other.

I love Faith/Jem.  Love the vibe where they’re both the oldest in their family, and the personality that comes with that.  I love that Faith is no blushing blossom, but a vivid rose.  I’m down for all the WW1 related stuff, but I’m also in for their adventures at Redmond.  Do they have a better college romance than Anne and Gilbert?  Or a couples’ interlude in Rainbow Valley would be lovely.

 

Cherry Ames - Helen Wells & Julie Tatham

Cherry/Lex - I love their vibe and that Cherry doesn't just give into him - a modern update could be good

Cherry & Marie - Marie is the rich girl who decides to become a WW2 nurse, tell me more - keep them in their canon period

Cherry & Charlie - I'd love more Ames sibling adventures, in canon period or modern update

So, I love Cherry Ames – the first books for the realism and the historical context, the later books for the somewhat zany setups (Department Store Nurse?).

Cherry/Lex – I love them together, love how he likes all the things that make Cherry difficult.  The scene in one of the books where he comes into the ward where she’s on duty during a dance and dances with her?  I love it.  Post-war could be good for them.  Or I am completely in for a modern update! 

Cherry and Marie – Marie is the friend who we learn least about, and who interests me most.  She’s a society girl who comes to nursing school and goes to war.  Maybe Marie stays in the Army?  Maybe they have another job together?  Or maybe Marie and Cherry have some purely fun time in Marie’s society world or Cherry’s Hilton?

Cherry and Charlie – I wish that they had focused more on the siblings’ relationship.  I’d love to know how they each dealt with post-war, or I would love a modern “Ames siblings join the military” – Cherry as a nurse, Charlie as a helicopter pilot?  Leave them in the Army, please!  Or you could give me the Ames siblings at home.

 

Eleanor & Park - Rainbow Rowell

Eleanor/Park - post canon, they have to get back together

Eleanor & Jamie - a scene I thought was missing from the book is the one where Jamie Sheridan takes advantage of his hero status in the neighborhood and beats the crap out of her stepfather

Jamie/Min-Dae - I love their dynamic

 

I love the honesty and realism of all these characters, and I love how easily she captures the time period.

Eleanor and Park have to get back together, right?  Yes, yes they do.  Give me that scene.

Eleanor & Jamie – pretty much what it says on the tin.  I like seeing the softer side of him, and the unexpected understanding he gives Park and Eleanor when it’s really necessary.

Jamie and Min-Dae – I love how they’re still so openly affectionate and gone on each other.  More of the teasing dialogue, or what happens when she sends him to his room?

Cordelia & Laisa or Cordelia & Tej - so maybe Countess Vorkosigan isn't the best source of advice for fitting in on Barrayar... you could combine these two

Aral & Tej - I'd love an interaction between these two, especially about Ivan

 

Tej, Tej, Tej.  I love her. 

Tej and Ivan being sexy or sweet or both? Sold.  Fancy dress a bonus.

Laisa and Tej – the Outsider squad comes to rely on each other, show me!  Fancy dress a bonus.

Cordelia and Laisa and/or Tej – Maybe she’s not their best advisor…or maybe she IS.  Helping them plan the next assault on Barrayarans, perhaps?  Reactions to Gentleman Jole? 

Aral and Tej – I would love love love a quiet private moment with these two, possibly during a formal event where they’re hiding out from people?  Or after a formal event, with relaxed fancy dress?  Or given the naming conventions on Barrayar, Tej and Aral and the next Padma?  I will love it.

He-Man and Casta – I like the idea, and I like the freedom Adam has on Etheria.  Something exploring that, or just sexy and sweet?  Rebellion celebration?

He-Man and Marlena – The whole part where he realizes that she KNOWS, the part where he almost slips and calls her Mother in the Rainbow Warrior episode?  That’s one of my all-time favorite moments, so take it and run with it!

For the Heyer requests (Patience & Jenny, Jenny & Anthea), I like to imagine that all of the Regency era characters mill around in the same pool, meet up with each other, and help each other out.  Maybe set the story at a house party?  The Season in London?  Jenny could meet Anthea and realize that she could have done much worse on the in-law draw.  I think Patience and Jenny would really like each other.  Perhaps Jenny could host a party at Fontley?

For all of the mystery related ones, I’m not interested in the mystery as much as I am the personal interaction.  Perhaps Japp recommends Poirot and Hemingway to each other?  I think Hemingway and Poirot would be an interesting pair because they’re both thinkers.  I don’t know how you make Nero and Poirot work, but they do both have an appreciation for the finer things.  Jane Marple and Ariadne Oliver could teach Scotland Yard a thing or two.  Nancy meeting Poirot on a trip to England (or Egypt) would be lovely.

For the DC/Marvel crossover, I think either of these couples would be interesting.  The long life/immortality/cut off from the world you grew up in factor plays a huge part for me.  I hate the assumption that Diana wasn’t involved with stuff that Justice League seemed to imply.  That, and I think Diana would see a little bit of her Steve in both of them.  I’m down for an after-mission relaxation fling.

They're my favorite ship. I love the geeky girl and the sports-type guy getting together, love the older sibling moments, love the trying to keep things on the down low in a small community

Pretty much this.  I love high school stories, college stories, home on vacation stories – all of them.  I also enjoy stories where they tried to keep it on the DL, and failed.  If you’re going to work in sports, please make it baseball!

I love this couple, and just want more.  I enjoy stories where they make it home, and then get pulled back in.

Sven/Romelle - sweet or sexy, healing each other

Allura/Lance - fling? stranded somewhere?

I love how Sven and Romelle fit with each other, how they have a maturity and depth that Allura and Keith do not.  Tender hidden moments, sarcastic humor shared, stolen moments – bring them on!

Allura and Lance are totally a fling.  How you get there is up to you, but I hope they enjoy it!  Or, oh no, we’re trapped together, whatever shall we do?
