Rare Pair Letter

First off, good luck! I know I'll like whatever you write, so enjoy yourself.
General dislikes: no non-con, no dubcon. I'm okay with all requested pairings getting down, but it's not necessary to have a good story. As a general rule of thumb, bittersweet is good, unbearably depressing and angst-filled is not. It doesn't need to be all rainbows and butterflies, but don't make things hopeless.
Star Trek: The Original Series
Spock/Romulan Female Commander - This, of course, bears on the TOS episode "The Enterprise Incident", which had a real impact on me. I don't really think they could have made it work, but I felt bad for her. Maybe she defects to the Federation, or they have another encounter... you tell me. I'm good with introspective pieces on this one. Also, if you have any familiarity with Diane Duane's Rihannsu, feel free to bring all that it. I love them. I love the Romulans. I'm still pissed at TNG for screwing them up.
Amanda Grayson/Sarek - Feel free to go with their courtship, or during their marriage while Spock is young, but not too much later than Journey to Babel. I'm totally down for a diplomatic incident tale, much like the one mentioned in Sarek by Ann C Crispin (I think it's in there) where the other negotiator wanted to buy Amanda. Tales of the Diplomatic Service would be quite fun. I see them as having a quiet shared sense of humor.
Number One/Chris Pike - AU where Chris Pike doesn't get killed would be great. Play off things in the novel Vulcan's Glory if you like. I love these two together, and I LOVE Number One, but no sacrificing her career to be with him. Maybe they have to attend a diplomatic function? (If you want to combine Number One/Pike with some Amanda/Sarek somehow, I would love you.)
Baby-Sitters' Club
Watson Brewer/Elizabeth Thomas Brewer - I'll be honest, I pretty much just like these two. Before marriage, after marriage, maybe taking advantage of a formal event while they have a baby-sitter to have some peace and quiet. Maybe stolen shower moments or something similar. Just give them a break (even temporary) from the kids.
Vorkosigan Saga
Basically, I'd like to grow up and be Lady Alys. If you want to do something where she's comparing her two relationships, go for it.
Alys Vorpatril/Padma Vorpatril - Go with something from the glittering pre-civil war period (no angst over Padma's death, please). The whole thing in Captain Vorpatril's Alliance where she basically turns the memorial ceremony over to Ivan - play off of that if you like that. Maybe a Vorish house party?
Alys Vorpatril/Simon Illyan - Something before the actual canon relationship would be great. Not sure I buy that they were actually having a relationship before Memory, but it could work. Again, maybe something with a Vorish house party or social event where Simon's headache is providing security.
19th CE RPF
Charlotte of Wales/Leopold I of Belgium - So this was my "oooh! who nominated this gem?" prompt. I'm familiar with Charlotte's history, and I'd love an AU where she doesn't die, an AU where she fills the spot that Victoria comes to fill (ie restoration of decency and not spending tons of money to England's throne).
