Dear Once Upon a Fic author,
So this is my first time in this particular exchange, and I am excited! I know I'll love what you write for me. All the fields are pretty wide open for you!
1) Theseus and the Minotaur
I love this story - but why couldn't Ariadne help out the seven maidens rather than the Hot Hero? (Not that I am opposed to the Hot Hero) Feel free to make the maidens somehow tied to the seven young men - friends/siblings/etc - but interested here in Ariadne helping the maidens out. Maybe she knows one of them. (Also, feel free to go with a Hunger Games theme.)
2) Cinderella
I'm always struck when I read Perrault and realize that the father is NOT dead. Why does he let his daughter, the daughter of his beloved wife, be treated as she is, and why does he let himself be governed by his wife? Is she blackmailing him? Is Cinderella secretly someone else's daughter? Does the Prince have a maiden aunt...
3) The Lady Lovibond
So, I love this story. I first found it in a Regency and was stoked to find there was a "real" story as well. So, ghosts trying to affect their fate/prevent others from wrecking, or introspection from the ghosts (particularly the bride), or a modern day ship meeting up with them... it's a pretty open field.
4) The Fall of Atlantis
Tell me a myth of Atlantis and its royal house, in a story that might "inspire" Greek myth. Surely Atlantis had its own Cassandra, or Penelope, or Ariadne, or Demeter?
