Babylon 5

Sooo looking forward to the rewatch/desert_sdwndr's first watch.  Listening to Babylon 5 themes now.  It's a shame that Season 5 has the best theme (with season 4 following very closely) when the season was largely not as good as the other four (the Day of the Dead episode was worth all of it, I think).

We'll be able to get together every weekend, as opposed to once a month or so, which will be fabulous.  It'll almost be like living together.  Yes, we have ridiculously low standards at this point.  Plus, the Mini Vixen should be able to enjoy a little as well.

If it had ended at the end of season 4, it would've been an utterly brilliant series. With season 5, it's just great. :)

I know. And it's ironic, because we fought so hard for that fifth season. I think it would have been better if Claudia Christian had stayed...

Sleeping in Light, however, is a masterpiece.

Season Five could've been great if JMS had said, "Bruce, your part of the story is finished. Now you're a supporting character for Londo's and Lyta's stories. So expect to skip a third of the eps, have speaking parts in a third, and cameos in the rest." Instead he had to make plots focus on President Sheridan which took some juggling.

I suspect the Hollywood contract system may have been a big factor in this.

I'd agree with this... also, Garibaldi getting back in the bottle was painful to watch. I wasn't so into the telepath storyline.

Low standards are a part of military life, I fear. Although depending on how the homework thing goes, I may be down there more often during the week. Found out this afternoon that I'll be down there a couple days next week, in fact…pity you're not here already!
