 Back with more awesome stories!

1. The Scrappy Someday (The Shadow (movie)/Captain America (movie)) - Interesting run-in between Lamont Cranston and Steve Rogers.  Short, but great characterization.

2. The Cat Who Owned A Library (The Cat Who... Mysteries) - YumYum the Paw gets to be the Smart Kitty.  I haven't read the recent books in the series, but this seems to go back to an earlier time in the series, and I enjoyed it.  The Siamese's voices were purr-fectly done.

3. Don't Trust the B- in Ending B (Clue) - One of the best titles I have seen this year.  This one gives Mrs. Peacock a few alternate endings, with assists from the rest of the cast.  Very funny and worth reading, the author did a great job of using things from the movie and turning them on their head for the story.

4. A Night to Remember (Cotillion) - Sweet, non-explicit wedding night story for Kitty and Freddy.

5. A Lady of Standing (Mansfield Park) - Mansfield Park future fic that is fair and realistic, and shows us how the characters might grow and change.

I have not tried it yet, but there is ALSO a 36,000 word Mansfield Park Yuletide story.

6. You Know War, It Has No Heart (MASH TV) - Margaret and Trapper sharing some thoughts.  Set three weeks after "Abyssinia, Henry" and deals with aftermath of that episode.

7. Murder at the Fete (Marple) - The Tuesday Night Club meets again (without Raymond West).  Otherwise, the group you know and love is all there.  This one is so very well-written - character voices are spot on.  To say anything else would spoil the story, but as another commenter said, This one would not be amiss in a collection of Christie stories.

8. The Holly Bears The Crown (Sleeping Beauty 1959) - Beautiful story about Briar Rose's first Christmas.

9. Memory in her Toes (Sleeping Beauty 1959) - What happened after the spell broke - not as straightforward as Disney would have you believe.  The language in this one is beautiful.

10. Doubts and Worries and Strategies (Sleeping Beauty 1959) - Merryweather-centric fic, and it's very well-written.  The author also gives the Queen something Disney neglected - a name.

11. A Poor Maiden So (Northanger Abbey) - Henry and Catherine have been married forever, but some things have not changed, including their sense of morals.  This one is well-written, and some people are depressingly true-to-history.

12. Twice Removed (Nero Wolfe - Rex Stout) - If you need a good dose of Nero Wolfe, come right here!  The author has Archie's voice down so well it feels like an actual Rex Stout story.

13. Jungle Creatures (The Lion in Winter 1968) - A missing scene type piece where Eleanor and Phillip talk.  Implied canonical m/m relationship, no explicit details.

14. The Aftermath of the Abduction (Black Sheep, Georgette Heyer) - A little after-the-book fic for your enjoyment.

15. Tempus Fugit (Miss Marple) - A longer Marple fic, but the mystery and Jane are well done in this one as well.

Thank you very much for sharing all these; I'm following a lovely, rambling path!

There weren't as many fandoms this year, but the stories in mine were quite good.
