I am trying the "blog entry every day in November" deal.
I'm going to make it easier on myself by talking about one of my favorite topics - books and reading. That will kick off tomorrow, because tonight I am doing some book-related organization.
I am not doing NaNo this year. I have the college class and it's going to be Yuletide writing really soon now.
Life in the Lair continues pretty much as normal. The MV is very active and enjoying kindergarten. Hector and Penelope spend their days shedding, sleeping, and trying to convince me of their lack of food. The relationship with PB continues along nicely, despite the whole work factor.
I visited the dentist today, and I can almost feel my whole face again. They gave me the Novocaine around 1240 and I still have numbness.

Date: 2011-11-03 02:18 am (UTC)Oh, don't worry, with my students I'll never be at a loss for something to write about. Like the one who's about to be turned into little crispy bits tomorrow for lying to two senior NCOs and disobeying orders.
Thanks for the support. (((( ))))

Date: 2011-11-02 09:40 pm (UTC)I give you a ton of credit for doing school on top of work and a family, especially at the Masters level. I managed one on-line class towards my BSN before I left the hospital, moved to hospice where tuition reimbursement is nonexistent, and ran out of money. Paying by the credit costs a fortune and juggling the time factor was hellish. If I get the job I'm interviewing for tomorrow (FINGERS & TOES CROSSED) I'll have to complete my BSN within the next 3 years. Good news is, they have tuition reimbursement. Finding the time is up to me!

Unfortunately, tuition assistance for the Army is about to get hit with cuts. It was an awesome program until people started using it.
