So, I got on snopes.com because I've read one too many "bad chain letters now updated to be Facebook status messages" and lost about an hour of my shift...

The current one floating around about "Amy Bruce", the seven year old with cancer is not true.  What's next, the damn the chocolate chip cookie recipe?

And can I say--for the record--that those facebook status updates that end in "some completely arbitrary percentage of you don't care enough to repost this" piss me off to no end?
