30 Days of Fanfic Writing Meme - Day Five

 Today's question: If you have ever had a character try to push their way into a fic, whether your "muse" or not, what did you do about it?

 I don't have a problem with characters doing this, although I do occasionally get an idea that I really want to use, but can't make fit in the story.  I have a folder full of WIPs and "scraps" for lack of a better word, in the hope that maybe I'll either be able to use the idea later, or modify it sometimes.

 A lot of the time when I work, it's not always linear, so if I have a scene/idea that just won't leave me alone, I usually write it, then see if I can find a home for it.  Either way, I find that writing it is the best idea, because it gets it out of your head.
