Help ! The boxes are taking over !

desertvixenYes, the packing continues. I shall have to go and buy more boxes this weekend. Probably tonight.
I have reduced the number of already-read books going with me. There are some I absolutely refuse to leave behind. Pride and Prejudice, Murder on the Orient Express, Memory (the signed copy!), and about 30 others.
I also did one of the more enjoyable chores, which is getting my hope chest ready to go. Obviously, I keep more "past" than "future" in there. It's been safe for a move or two, so hopefully it will continue being safe. My wedding albums are in there as well. It may come out and come with me. They say anything you would really have a hard time replacing should be carried with you, but... I can't carry everything with me. And, I suppose, it could be *replaced*, but not *duplicated*. Everything in the chest should be fine, I think.
I'm enjoying the slacking aspect of getting ready to go. However, I miss my tidy apartment. :)

Date: 2005-05-06 04:08 pm (UTC)Your hope chest has more past than future too? Whew, I'm glad mine isn't the only one. The only thing future in mine is baby quilts made by both of my grandmas and a baptism outfit made by my MIL. Everything else is stuff from my past.
