My main ones are: GI Joe and Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys. Also a little Star Trek: New Frontier, but I haven't written any of that in awhile. I have some of the Babylon 5 stuff as well, but not much.
The sad thing, I was looking through stuff I'd done because I was trying to find a certain physical description that I wanted to look at, and then ended up reading more.
I'm taking a bunch of fanfic on the deployment to entertain me, and I plan on writing more since I will a) need the escape and b) won't have a small toddler who demands my attention :(
Please tell me, although I think I know the answer to this, that there isn't gratuitous sex in the Hardy Boys fic...I don't mind it when there's a plot point, but when it *is* the plot point is when gratuitous sex gets annoying. (In my not so humble opinion, that is.)
The danger, at least on FF.net, comes from the waaaay too sweet Nancy/Ned stuff that reads like it's written by early fanficcers.
I'll be the first to admit, some of my early stuff is incredibly bad, too.
There's also the waay AU stuff that sort of annoys me.
There's one story that is really good on FF.net, and it's ALMOST finished, except for the epilogue, called "Father of Mine" by Roswalyn. I cannot rec that one highly enough.
There's also an amusing pair of stories called "My Imaginary Detective" - in one of the shorts, the Hardy Boys are "real" and Nancy is fictional; in the other it's reversed. They're short, but fantastic.
So I take it you don't read Laurell K. Hamilton too much, then... if you don't like gratuitous sex as plot.
Those sound really interesting...I'll have to check them out.

Naw. It can be powerful when there's a reason for it. But just as an excuse for a sex scene? Doesn't do much for me. But fortunately for everyone, there's plenty of room for everyone in fanfic. ;)
Okie. If you like Doctor Who fanfic, check out Somnambulists by Clocket Patch. You don't really need to know much about the show, but it's really well-written.
Okay, this may be spoiling it, but I figure you've got until April to have so much other stuff crowding your brain that you eventually will forget ...
Would it be acceptable if, for a care packagy-sort of thing, if I printed up a few of my works -- one long, three shorts -- and shipped them to you in the sandbox? It's not Joeverse, and the long one is a three-way crossover, with possible sequels.
