Reading Resolution
Sep. 17th, 2007 09:58 pm I am putting it here to ensure I stick to it.
Until I get my to-be-read pile down to 10 books or less, I am not buying any more books. Even though there is a new JD Robb book on November 6th. I really have too many books I have bought and not read.

Date: 2007-09-18 11:53 pm (UTC)Two feet high, double stacked.
I have a convenient space between bookcases where there's a cable hookup so the bookcase can't be there where I put the unread.
I'm either going to read stuff or get rid of it.

Date: 2007-09-18 05:25 am (UTC)My Boys are 2-0, too. I'm so not expecting that to last, but then again, the Yankees are scrabbling for a wild card and the Rockies may make the playoffs. This might be a strange year. Navy Mids are 1-2. CO Avs are 1-0 but that's pre-season.
Hurricane Niece slept in until after 12, then was wired the rest of the day. Gave her a bath 'round 9-ish, she was dead to the world within ten minutes.
Your in-laws sound like my father's older sister, who told me it was no use praying for my then-eleven WEEKS preemie sister, because we were all going to burn in Hell when we died because we were Catholic. Dad's family is Methodist. I was NINE. Yeah, I don't talk to her anymore.
Music of the Moment: Our Song by Taylor Swift (still stunned that this chick is only SEVENTEEN.)

Date: 2007-09-19 12:00 am (UTC)There are books I could not part with.
Then there's stuff I have read that I won't likely read again. Can't afford the weight when we move.
This Saturday and Sunday we will watch football and nothing else. No in-laws.
Detroit 2-0!

Date: 2007-09-21 01:20 am (UTC)Some of them aren't going to be read, but I'm going to admit they'll never be read and find them new homes.
