desertvixenNote the singular use of the noun above. I only have one, then I have to go and work another 4 days.
However, it's been a useful day so far. I slept until 0730, then lolled in bed for a little while. That's such a satisfying feeling. I had to trek out to Fort Sam Houston to a) have my promotion points added (I'll have 506 as of March when they kick in - only 292 to go until I max out!) b) have my ERB updated to include both of my AAMs. Then I went and picked up another set of ribbons, as one set is getting a little beat up. I also went and was semi-irresponsible, and spent 200 dollars (incl. installation and tax, etc) having a new stereo put in my car. The front speakers are blown, apparently. The rear set works fine, so the balance is towards the rear right now until I decide whether or not I'm putting more money on it. It's getting traded after i get my bonus and pay it off, but that could be another 6 months at this rate, and I was tired of suffering. That and I don't want to drive from San Antonio, TX to Sierra Vista, AZ with no CD capability.
Rereading JD Robb so I'll be up to speed for the new book at the beginning of February, and doing some mental plotting for Electra's next chapter. It's going to be an action chapter, more like something cartoon reminscent (ie, no ambiguity), which is not one of my strong points. So for now, it's planning only.

sykoamazon : I promise, there will be no heresy in the next chapter. As far as the bootcamp stuff, I'd offer to send it to you, but it's going to become Chapter 26 or 27 along with the 4th exercise, so you will see it. Eventually. I'm also working slowly on some straight BH/CG stuff, so do not despair.
I'm also starting to pull things together for my TDY, so that when I get the date I am NOT running around like an avian lifeform missing its head. (Too much, that is.)
And, of course, more correspondance courses to work through. I'd like to add points again at the end of this month.

just kidding!! go ahead and do what ya gotta (which does not include spending money on a car that you are getting rid off!) get your promotion, live with hubby, kill annoying TSgt's, write when you get time...which should be everyday since you have time to read!!
