We had EIGHT trick or treaters all night. For eight kids, I spent three hours stuffed into a pair of jeans that no longer fit and spent $12 on what turned out not to be a working cap gun after all. Too many "Christians" in this neighborhood, NEVER a lion around when you need one.

I know Reader's Digest is a mostly conservative publication, but you might glance at the November ish if you see it at the checkout. It's got Tim Allen on the front cover, but it's the artwork on the back cover that I think will be right up your alley *winks*.

That's why I always give out handfuls of change from the dish in our hallway. If there's some leftover, hey, no problem!

We hardly ever get any trick-or-treaters anyway. :(

If you want Halloween visitors, come to our house. Over the last 14 years, we've had between 35 & 83, with the average being around 55. This year we only had 48, but then, we missed the first hour, being late getting back from the walk.
