Mild Accomplishment
Jan. 13th, 2005 02:12 pmI am enjoying my day off. I ran out and ran some small errands earlier, and I may clean later, but I am being lazy. Lazylazylazy... But all my stuff for my transcript eval has been sent off and my TA form has been turned in.
There is something nicely decadent about not setting the alarm. Even if I don't sleep all that late, not being enslaved to a schedule is a luxury I greatly enjoy.
I finished my second Heyer this week, "April Lady". I almost stopped reading it, because the main female was beginning to wear on my nerves, slightly, but I did like the ending. Especially the implications of the ending scene... I should write some more "implication-scenes" of my own. "Oh never mind *us*..."
I am thinking of a stab at the JWA writer challenge, but I need to decide who I want to write slushy stuff about...
In the meantime, watching daytime TV and rotting my brain.
