Help needed

Okay, I need a little help with this Brit History class. I need ideas for a Wikipedia entry about an issue/person/place, hopefully related to British rule in India, colonial law, and/or women. Combos accepted.
I have to turn this in by 3/19. Any suggestions, even broad ones, are appreciated.

Date: 2006-03-08 10:31 pm (UTC)You might want to look at the sati/suti practice of Hinduism. When a man died they burned his wife with him (burnt her alive). I am pretty sure the Brittish had something to say with this practice. I am pretty sure Gandhi had things to say as well.
