Jenn, I got to watch my taped delay of BL and wow... yeah! I liked this one, a lot. (Okay, so I went back and watched the opening scene more than once.) More Mark Valley than usual, thanks to whoever.

This one had a lot going on in it, and I mean a *lot*. The whole subplot with the women and James Spader's character, while MV is all out there in the cold. Poor dear. The scenes with him and Laurie (Monica Potter) were really good, and now I want to go write some cuddly Deep Six stuff.

I have a certain sympathy with Rene Auberjonois' character. He's the only sane person, seemingly, in a company of lunatics, and I can so relate to that.

The bit with the woman researcher was ... wrenching.

I do need to work on my exercise for the fanfic bootcamp. That's my goal for tomorrow. I have an idea or 2...

Oh, I know! I really enjoyed this episode. Really, the whole ornament/Alan thing would have been enough to amuse me for the whole episode, but I loved the Brad stuff. I love that he tries to be what every woman wants and yet keeps losing out to Alan, who barely even tries. I love that Lori totally wants Alan and is horrified by her own feelings, lol. Plus... the Brad carrying a torch for Lori thing and being all "I want to be more than friends". Then Brad rejected. :( Then Brad trying to act like it's OK. Let's face it, Brad just being cute and sweet and making me go "awwwww!".

I about died during the whole thing with Denny and Alan. Alan planting a huge-ass kitchen knife and a manip-ed picture of Denny with Saddam Hussein in Denny's briefcase. And then Denny pulling the fire alarm before Alan could start on the case alone. Jesus, that was hilarious. Shatner and Spader work so well together.

It looks like we'll see more of MV now. At least I hope so.

Like I said, expect some cuddly Deep Six stuff. I have to write in his ex in the christmas bit. I need to work on fic.

However, I had a good idea for the ex, so... hang in. I'm off Saturday, and writing is the goal.
