Let's try this again.

This will be my third time Trick-or-Treat-Exing, and I really enjoy it! I've recieved awesome gifts the first 2 years, and I know this year won't be any differen!

General:

DO NOT WANTS: excessive gore (I like creepy, made-you-jump, turn-on-all-the-kights scary over Saw-style gore), non-con, excessive violence (canon-level violence or referred-to violence is okay)

I'm cool with a romantic/sensual element in fandoms that lend themseles to it.

I love, love love the Phantom Passenger Urban Legend - although I didn't request the legend this year, feel free to use that as a basis for your story for the majority of my requests (I've noted the ones where it would not work) because you can't go wrong. Cast appropriate characters in the role, or have them as bystanders. I'm also a HUGE fan of the variant where they go some place and go back only to find it abandoned, as well as the "room for one more" UL (woman has the dream that keeps her from being killed in an elevator crash).

I'm also a big fan of unsolved mysteries and the Bermuda Triangle.

I like Halloween being involved in the story, and have noted fandoms where I think it would work.

If you know more than one of these, feel free to go crossover-style!

Specific:

1. Anne of Green Gables - Faith Meredith, Jem Blythe, Walter Blythe, Joyce Blythe

All 4 do not need to be in the story - def want Joyce though
Joyce Blythe appears as a Phantom Passenger of sorts?
Walter "meets" Joyce (either before or after his death)?
Jem & Faith or just Faith has an encounter with Joyce?

I feel like this fandom is ripe for a Phantom Passenger. I'm thinking either Walter and Joyce or Jem/Faith and Joyce.

2. Miss Marple - Agatha Christie

Maybe Miss Marple has a ghostly encounter? Or a murderous Halloween party?

I love pragmatic Miss Marple, and I feel like she'd probably be pretty calm about this.

3. Vorkosigan Saga - Ivan Vorpatril, Laisa Toscane Vorbarra, Tej Arqua Vorpatril

Maybe our two non-Barrayaran ladies have a very Barrayaran ghost encounter? Esp if they don't initially realize it! Bonus points if it's Princess Kareen.

I love the whole "person has ghostly encounter", and doesn't realize it until they see a portrait of the person. This would be particularly nice with Laisa and Tej seeing Kareen's ghost. A side dish of "trying to figure out Barrayarans" would go well. Feel free to add in some Ivan/Tej sexysillyfun times.

4. Jem and the Holograms - Jerrica Benton, Astral, Rory "Riot" Llewelyn

I was doing a rewatch and came on the episode where Astral appears - something with a magic show would be fun
Also, Jerrica/Jem and Halloween seems like a match
Maybe Xanthos provides the event? Feel free to include him.

I'm not averse to trying on the Jerrica/Riot ship...

5. Lion Voltron - Lance, Coran, Alfor

Lance has a ghostly encounter with Alfor - not necesarily related to the princess
Coran and Lance have shared insomnia and a heart to heart

6. Star Wars: Original Trilogy - Wedge Antilles

There must be enough ghosts following this guy around (would especially love Biggs Darklighter) - feel free to use people from the Rogue Squadron books! Or spin an urban legend Star Wars style with Wedge as the focus

If you decide to bring in the books, I love Corran and Mirax (and Corran/Mirax), and Wes and Hobbie, and I'm okay with Iella.

7. Wreck-It Ralph - Fix-It Felix Jr, Tamora Calhoun, Wreck-It Ralph

Maybe some sort of Halloween mods for the newer games? (Sugar Rush could be epic on this one) Or maybe the characters get stuck in a horror game?

Was Castlevania ever an arcade game? Maybe the PacGhosts hold a haunted maze?

8. Haunted Mansion (ride) - Ghost Host

I got an awesome story for this last year, but I can't resist asking for more. Would love a focus on the Ghost Host.

So I'm talking about the ride at Disneyland and not the abomination of a movie. I love it. I have since I was little, and I'm 37 now. Not really sure what I'm looking for on this one, but something that helps recapture the feeling of standing in the elevator, watching the paintings lengthen, and being fun-scared. I do not like the "new" bride, prefer the one who was in the shadows with the glowing heart in my childhood.

Maybe the Ghost Host has a staff meeting?

Also, the changing paintings, the one cat-woman or the Medusa, could be fun too.

I'm aware of the fan theory that the Haunted Mansion is supposed to represent suicide, not really sure either way on that.

9. And Then There Were None (play) - Vera Claythorne, Emily Brent, William Blore, Philip Lombard

Whoever nominated this, I love you.

Give me a story about these people haunting the mansion, maybe?

Or a story where Vera is actually Mrs. Owen? or make Emily Brent Mrs. Owen (and have the 2 outwit her)?

Would prefer them not being haunted by their victims though, and definitely want the focus on the play version, where these two (Vera and Philip) survive.

Thinking about it, I would really enjoy Emily Brent being outwitted by Vera and Philip.

10. Murder She Wrote - Jessica Fletcher, Grady Fletcher

Jessica (or Grady - I had a teeny crush on him when I was growing up) has a ghostly encounter. Maybe helps them solve a murder case?
