Dear Yuletide Writer

Dear Yuletide Writer, I have been a very good girl this year.
General guidelines: I'm not into slash, although I can see it in some fandoms (yes, I watch JQ). I'd prefer happiness, although the Christmas variety is NOT required. If it works for you, then I'll enjoy it. I'm a firm believer in mistletoe and romance at Christmas, though. AU land is always a cool place to visit, especially on #2
I do write fanfic if you're interested in looking it up. I'm DesertVixen on both AO3 and FF.net.
1. Unknown Ajax by Georgette Heyer - Ajax is one of my favorite Heyers, partly for the family dynamics and character interactions. I want to see Lady Aurelia, Anthea, and Mrs. Darracott interacting - preferably after Hugo and Anthea marry. One thing I think would be interesting is how family dynamics have changed after Lord Darracott finally sticks his spoon in the wall, but it's not a requirement. Feel free to drag in whatever male Darracotts you need to make the story work - I admit to a partiality for Vincent.
2. Nancy Drew - I'd really like to see something with Helen Corning ( (preferably still a single girl) and Nancy doing something mystery-related, and can pass the Bechdel test. I'm a big fan of #4, Mystery at Lilac Inn, both the original and the revision. Maybe something else at Lilac Inn? I'm thinking it would be cool to see either something set in the yellow spine era of sheath dresses, Nancy arranging flowers, and attending tea parties OR updating Helen Corning to fit in the SuperMystery era of the 80s/90s. Romance not a requirement, unless you want to bring in the Army guy from #4 as part of the story (as convenient date). Also, on the question of romance, please note I am a Nancy Drew/Frank Hardy shipper so if you drag him in, more power to you.
3. Trixie Belden - I picked Honey and Brian because they seem like the two most level-headed members of the Bob-Whites of the Glen, and they deal with Trixie which would drive me nuts. This is the one request I think I'd most like a touch of romance in, maybe with snow and mistletoe, either in Sleepyside or somewhere else. Other characters can be used as needed. I always assume that these two will stay together.
Thanks for doing this, and I hope you have fun! Click my yuletide tag if you need more info on old story recs, what I've liked, what-have-you.
