I have the same issue trying to understand those people. Yes, they both have breasts and a vagina, but that's about where the similarity ends. Choice is a huge issue for me as well, and I believe like Hillary and Obama, that providing more social programs and better access to sex ed, you will reduce the need for elective abortions. And for abortions that can't be reduced by those methods (rape, incest, catastrophic fetal deformities) then the mother should have the legal right to decide how she wants to go forward. If she wants to carry to term, that's wonderful. But if she decides that she couldn't bear it, for whatever reason, then I cannot judge her on that. It's a terrible position to be in.
Bottom line for me: it's a medical procedure. We cannot legislate those based on religion or personal views.
