Oct. 4th, 2004 11:29 pmLook, Jenn, it worked! I have been successfully nagged into setting up my LiveJournal.
Not much to report, I fear. Splitting my time between trying to brainstorm for Chapter 19 of my GI Joe fanfic, Electra, and taking care of chores.

Let me know if you have questions, although I'm pretty sure you'll pick it all up quickly.
Off to prison... I mean work. Bleah!

Date: 2004-10-05 09:22 pm (UTC)Unfortunately, not.
I just wish it was. Because Saturday morning I get to fly to Georgia to see the husband. I have some research to do. :) I'm convinced that they're trying to make up for it at work by driving me crazy. I managed to escape a whole 45 minutes early, thankfully.
On the writing front, getting ready to tackle a beta for a newer author, and trying to figure out where *Electra* (my eighteen chapter never-ending baby) goes next exactly. The main decision that needs to be made is how long I can stretch the current tension out - I have plans for chapter 20 already, but I don't think we want to wrap the tension up just yet. I also need to write an ending for one of my BH/CG spinoffs before the crowd tries to lynch me.
On the reading front, working my way back through the David Weber *Honor Harrington* series, now in book 9, and trying not to let Napoleonic-allegorical space opera spill into my fanfic. Not ready to do that crossover. :)

Date: 2004-10-06 07:24 am (UTC)Fearchilde, I'm hoping to have Weekend Leave wrapped up here soon. The problem is that Chapter 4 started getting overly cozy, and sweet, and *slushy*. While at times, *slushy* is good, especially in holiday stories, it was driving me nuts. I think I've come up with a better approach that also holds up the underlying "theme" of the stories, which is that long term relationships are no walk in the park. Now, will it get written between work, beta work, and going to actually visit my husband? Maybe, maybe not until next week.
Don't let that blondeness explode *too* badly.
