It's actually a brief history (popular history/overview type) of the Regency. Not to in depth, but more of an orientation to some of the issues of the day. It's good, and MUCH better (IMO) than Erickson's biographies. I've tried the ones of Queen Victoria and Tsarina Alexandra (Nikolai II's wife) and they were both too ... overdramatized.
I like some of the Signet and Zebra small Regencies, and I have Heyer's Toll-Gate on deck.
