For the series familiars, no guest appearances by anyone from Eve's childhood, dreams or otherwise!

Spoilers:

The serial killer who wants to add Eve to his collection is getting a touch old.  This book isn't too filled with cameos, and the woman who's supposed to be the third victim is fabulous.  I can see her making a guest appearance.  Nice bits with Feeney, and I think the first time she's named in the whole series.  A touch heavy on the coincidences, but pretty good.

Verdict: Not her best, but not her worst either.

Also, there's a paperback out with four short stories (JD Robb, and three others) with the Eve short featuring a vampire.  Has anyone on the f-list read this one, or heard any opinions on it?  The ghost one was pretty good.
