Have fun crossing over and fusing.  I'm down for serious or cracky.  Also, too late to nominate I fell down the rabbit hole of the Duck Tales reboot and would be 100% fine with you adding them to any of the 80s cartoon crossovers.  OBVIOUSLY super optional and up to you.  Have fun!

My general preferences are here.

Blanket DNWs are graphic/sexual violence, cruelty to animals/children, death of characters named in the prompt.

So, since this challenge is a little different, I like to open with a little information about the fandoms, and what I love about them.  Fandoms are in no particular order.

Fairy Tail: I love this fandom.  The story is strong and swivels around on different characters, and there’s so many great moments.  (And so much inherent shippiness!)  I am current on what’s been released in the US so far for the anime and am slowly working through the manga.  My favorite arcs are Grand Magic Games, S-Class, and Battle of Fairy Tail/Fantasia.

Dallas 1978:  1980s extravagance and excess.  JR Ewing scheming, wheeling and dealing.  The way Sue Ellen's alcoholism is real, both the ups and downs.  The fashions!  If you are familiar with the reboot, feel free to hint at it.  I also love the "we'll fight all we want but you take us all on" dynamic.  Would prefer focus on later seasons, unless you want to have some fun with Bobby Ewing's shower.  Also I didn’t nominate it but if you know Dallas 2012 and want to work it in… They did an awesome job of translating all the things that made the original Dallas great, and both main male leads are ridiculously hot.  I wonder what would have happened if Larry Hagman hadn’t died, but the way they brought back original characters and mixed them in with new ones was excellent. I also loved the touches of “real world” (of course the Ewings have a box at Cowboy Stadium!  Of course Jerry Jones knows JR!)

Falcon Crest: I am here all the way for Angela Channing.  Dallas and Falcon Crest used to be my grandmother’s Friday night viewing, and Angela always intrigued me.  I loved how she played feminine wiles and sharp business and was like a deadly snake. The California scenery was good too, but for me the show was always about Angela.  Lance is entertaining, but no match for his grandmother.

Hart to Hart: These two have such chemistry, and I love it.  I like the more serious undercover stuff (like related to Hart Industries) and how they just keep having murders happen around them.  The 80s fashions are also fun!  The first season episode set in Vail is one of the best.

Murder She Wrote: My mother watched this show so much, my brothers and I refer to Angela Lansbury as Grandma.  I love Jessica and how she just stumbles into murders (or is a murder magnet).  I like Cabot Cove stories but some of the travel ones (like Snow White, Blood Red) are also excellent.  Seasons 2-5 are good.

Clue: I love this movie, especially Miss Scarlet - how she is brash, frank, sexy and unapologetic.  I really like the whole "strangers trapped together" deal, especially if they’re trading quips in fancy dress.  This is my favorite movie of all time.

Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys SuperMysteries: I love Nancy in all her incarnations, but chose the Super Mysteries because I think they would make better crossover material with some of the choices.  Travel, adventure, unresolved sexual tension (you can resolve it, it’s OK), the clothes, the flimsy undercover jobs.  This update of Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys (and bringing them together) really scratches my 1980s/1990s itch.  I love how they’re always HAPPENING to run into each other and OOPS our mysteries are connected.  Frank Hardy was probably my first fictional boyfriend (so much better than Ned) and the UST, while varying from book to book, is great – but aside from the UST I love how well Nancy and Frank work together.  My faves are The Last Resort, Dangerous Games, Exhibition of Evil.  And Joe!  I love how funny and brash he can be, like taking on the bad guy with a water pistol.

Hunger Games (books):  I enjoyed the first 2 movies as much as the 2 books - a little shaky on the Mockingjay stuff.  I enjoyed getting more in Katniss’ head and I loved the songs in the books.  I’m more interested in the concept, rather than actually using HG characters – having to fight in the ring, and how it impacts their society.

Dungeons and Dragons (Cartoon): The whole part where the kids get sucked into the Realm through an amusement park ride does it for me.  I love how DM is just screwing with them left and right, and love when they’re trying to figure things out.   I love Eric coping through sarcasm and Sheila is the group big sister. My favorites are the Hall of Bones, Dragon’s Graveyard, and The City at Midnight.

Voltron - Lion Voltron: Space explorers!  Beautiful princesses in abandoned castles!  Robot Lions!  Weird fractured storylines pieced together from 2 different animes with plot holes you could fit a Robeast through!  Confused timelines!  I am not interested in any of the later incarnations though.

G.I. Joe: One of my favorites as a kid.  I love the women of the team.  I love the 80s feel.  Some of my favorites are The Funhouse, COBRA Stops the World, and the whole Arise Serpentor Arise mini-series.  When my brothers and I played outside, this was one of the things we played.

Jem: One of my favorites.  I love Jerrica and her need for an alter ego, the dynamics between all the characters, and yes even the music and cartoon 80s fashions.  I like the earlier episodes before things get cracky, but I also enjoy the Stingers eps.

He-Man and Masters of the Universe: My favorite cartoon.  There was something about this one I always liked better than She-Ra, and it's Adam and Cringer's relationship - plus I love Queen Marlena.  I love the Rainbow Warrior ep, Into the Abyss and the Sword in the Stone.  I am getting Netflix purely to watch the reboot.

Ouran High School Host Club: This is a silly fandom with more depth than you think it has, and I love it.  Particularly the last 5 episodes or such (I love the Halloween episode).  For me it turns on the Haruhi/Tamaki/Kyouya possibility.  I love how they’re over the top.

Rihannsu Novels: I love Diane Duane’s Trek work, but I really love the Rihansu.  I love seeing what the Romulans could have been before TNG jacked them up.  Honorable and crafty and adversaries worth fighting.  I also totally love how Duane does McCoy and Spock.

Hell’s Kitchen RPF: This is my guilty pleasure.  I love watching people get yelled at, come up with interesting food, have interpersonal conflict and try to decide who’s going next. I really enjoy Gordon and sous chefs Christina, Scott, Jocky.  My favorite seasons are: the All-Stars, Rookies v. Veterans, and Seasons 14-16.
