MFT Letter

My general preferences on fanfic are here.

While I have Canon Compliant and Canon Divergent both marked, I’d prefer to avoid AUs with different settings.  I’m totally down with what-if though! 

For the sexier prompts, I’m okay with light kink (think handcuffs, blindfolds, restraints but not full on D/s).  Fade to black or go all the way…

A few general notes about tropes and why I like them - not all covered because this letter is already forever long.

Redemption Arcs – People can change.  It shouldn’t be easy, and the bad done in the past can’t be ignored.  Gajeel and Levy is a good example of this, IMO (although too much of it happens offscreen).

Size Difference – Kissing is hard when you have a big height difference.  Show me how you work around it.  Maybe straddling each other or using convenient walls?

Can’t find privacy – Some people just can’t get out of their friends’ business.  I enjoy this when it is deliberate and when it’s not intended.

Drunk admissions/shenanigans – Entertain me.  Please don’t go to dubcon or noncon land.

Captured together – Goes along with several, including handcuffs.  May also be a good confession time.  See also trapped, snowed in, etc.

Sexual Teasing is Turnabout – Goes nicely with can’t find privacy, good whether others notice or not.

Sparring leads to sex – ooh let’s get physical. 

Lust potion – have fun.  Lots of fun.

Sharing a Bed – Turns to More – I’m all over this one.  Whether they have to snuggle to stay warm, or one sleeper migrates across the bed to the other, or one wakes up to do the study their loved one thing…I’m on board.  Bed can also be pretty loosely applied.
