A couple of points, in my view.
1. He joined in 2003. So was he okay with things then? I realize it wasn't apparent where exactly this thing was going then, but it's a point to ponder.
2. He's not against war in general, just this one. I'm not really a big fan of it myself, but no one asked for my opinion. It's my job, and his, to help take care of the soldiers who are over there, or who are going there, or who are coming home.
Wonder how all this is going to shake out.
