Dec. 21st, 2005 09:50 pmMy day off. Not all that productive, and no scrapbooking.
I managed to sleep (mostly blissfully) until 0830, and then got up when Brian came home. Poor little shiftworker. Luckily, it's almost over.
I also ran some errands, including securing my ham for Christmas dinner. I found a little 8.45 pounder (there's going to be like 3 of us), and will have fun cooking that on Christmas Day. I pondered getting a ham from HoneyBaked Ham company but... 40 dollars? Um, no. I can't possibly screw mine up that bad. It won't be quite the cooking extravaganza Thanksgiving is, but should still be nice. We're having our (and
rockahulababy's friend Jon over for Christmas Day, so now I do need to get him a Christmas present. Something small, but it seems quite rude to have someone to your house on the Big Day and have no gifts for them.
Lethargy is hanging out, although I predict my late afternoon nap may interfere with sleep now. Brian ran an errand with a friend that took a little bit longer than he planned, so we missed a nice chunk of the afternoon together (hence, my nap).
All of his Christmas gifts are wrapped now. He has promised to gte mine wrapped and out if I "give him the time". I need to get some stocking stuffer type things, but then I am done. Yay!
I also did NOT do any homework, so I must get some done Friday. Hiss.
Early Christmas gift arrived today, so Brian and I will be ready to "dress up" for football on Saturday. Yes, my FireMillen.com gear arrived. Their store had some issues with the image. BTW, the photoshopped images at http://www.firemillen.net/photoshop.html are hilarious.
