Because I Am Hopelessly Out-of-Date...

I heard the song Good Ride, Cowboy on the radio today, after finally finding a country radio station that's not monopolized by the Top 40.

I did not know that Chris LeDoux had died. (in March of 2005) I'm not sure exactly how this missed my notice. I wasn't listening to the radio a lot, but I'm surprised I didn't see it somewhere else in the news.

It's a good song, and we'll be keeping our eyes open for the CD it's on. Unfortunately, this means we'll have to go into a Wal-Mart.

Good ride, cowboy, good ride.

Well, on the one hand, I'm relieved that she's out of the running. I'm sorry, but an anti-choice nominee makes me worry, male or female. Also that whole experience thing, you know?

Now, the questions are 1) Who is going to be nominated now? 2) Will it be someone worse?
