Apr. 3rd, 2005 06:04 pmYay! Homework is done and fired off.
I haven't accomplished much housecleaning, but hey, it's not like there's anyone around to notice.
I did knock "wedding outfit" off the list. JC Penney had lace camisoles on sale for 14.99 each that a) go nicely between dressed up with a skirt and sexy with jeans b) are fully lined and c) are designed to be worn with a bra, and so do not have the abomination that is the "built in bra". (As ladies who are more than a B will know, shelf bras and support are pretty incompatible.) So, I bought two... one in black and one in ivory. The plan is to wear one of them with a suitable skirt, and possibly a demure little cardigan, considering the sensibilities of some of our relatives. I tried on a nice dress, but I really don't do pale green all that much (get enough green during the week) and don't think the asymetrical cut is all that flattering on my figure. I also discovered that I have acquired a bruise on the back of my calf, somehow.
Now, I need to find a new pair of dressy sandals. That should be much less painful.
I'm reading and enjoying some lightweight stuff. Trying to knock a few smaller books off the list before I tackle another large and heavy book. The new Amelia Peabody book should be here by Wednesday. (happy dance, daydream about quality time with Ramses and Emerson...)
