Weekends are nice.
Friday was the PT test, which I passed but didn't do so hot on. Cold air causes cramps that really really suck. Hoping for better weather in 2 weeks. I also spent some time withbluephoenix13 and husband.
Saturday, I went to the All-American Bowl, and watched some awesome high school prep folks. I'll put up pics when I get mine scanned this week. It was fun, and produced a few plot bunnies. They are showing up everywhere. It's like that Visa commercial.
I managed to finish Sprig Muslin, by Georgette Heyer. Again, the book itself kind of dragged, but the end scene was worth reading. It reminded me a bit of Charity Girl, with the same sort of interaction between the main 3 characters.
I am reading Rising Tides by Nora Roberts, the 2nd of 4. The series takes place on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, and we all know who comes from that area. (Well, if you read my fanfic, you know.) They're good, and they don't bog me down, and they're fun. I have some more intelligent reading to follow them.
I am trying to write. Not enough, probably. I have committed to spend part of my 2 off days (Weds and Thurs) writing. I also have a bootcamp writing exercise to work on, and a new discussion question to introduce. We'll see how that one goes. Hopefully not so volatile.
Watching playoffs. Fun. Work tommorrow. Not fun.

This Really Should Not Be An Issue
Jan. 16th, 2005 07:15 pmMore political/social ranting ahead. Enclosed in a LJ-Cut to protect those who come here to avoid the politics....
Briefly: the morning-after pill and the attempt to keep it prescription. The actual article parts are bolded, edited for conciseness.
