End of Year Errands

Trying to get things squared away for the new year we're beginning.

I need to get my TA squared away for the 2 courses I'm taking at AMU. I can take 6 classes before October with 100% TA. They have a required planning course that I'm taking - and then World Civ pre-1650 to knock out a lower level history class. Since I am NOT getting out, I need to get the degree underway - going for history with European focus and Intelligence Studies minor.

My other goals for the year include improving my PT score, especially since I'm coming out of the screwed up knee deal, and (my favorites) getting reunited with my husband and disposing of my Neon. Both of those would be helped by my completing the 96B class. They're "checking into" my class date, which I translate to mean - check back in two weeks.

Working on fic and studying for the board. Yay.

I am glad to see someone realizes that it's an issue. Separation is hard on marriages. The Army is hard on marriages, period. Especially when, according to one woman in the article, "you don't really know each other that well". And yeah, 3 kids under 3 doesn't help either.

Then, I went looking for news about the Ukraine and discovered that Jerry Orbach has died. He will be missed.
