Trick or Treat 2022

I have gifts enabled.  I will never say no to more gifts, more treats, more tricks!  Feel free to ignore my Art/Fic preferences for extra gifts. Feel free to give extra treats like you're at the house with full-size candy bars.

 

I am totally on board with a Halloween fic. #helptheHalloweenhamster #Hallowster maybe?

So let’s talk about Halloween/spooky stuff I love.  Feel free to apply to any prompt as applicable.

 

I love Halloween like we experienced it in the 80s.  Dressing up, having fun, candy candy candy.

 

Phantom hitchhikers need rides home, Halloween or not.  I love their stories.  I’m also a fan of reverse hitchhikers (the car and driver are the ghost – think of The Ride or Phantom 309).  I’m also a big fan of phantom places (oh, that old diner outside of town burned down seven years ago last week).

 

I like urban legend classics like the psycho killer on the college campus, or the hook on the door, or the killer in the backseat.  However, please skip the babysitter getting the call from upstairs – that one actively bothers me.

 

In general, for scary I want less gore/jump scare and more “standing at the bottom of the stairs with all the lights on hesitating to go upstairs”.

 

If you want to fuse any of these with a Clue/House on Haunted Hill/And Then There Were None type setup, go ahead.

 

I love a good ghost story, and ghost stories where they don’t immediately realize they have encountered a ghost.  Helpful ghosts or ghosts who need help from us are my jam, not really into poltergeist type stuff.

 

Spooky pranks are good too.

I was joking with my daughter that an Encanto/House on Haunted Hill (prefer the Vincent Price one) fusion could be a lot of fun. After giving it some thought, a creepy We Have Always Lived in the Castle would be an interesting take as well. Mirabel trapped in the house with everyone's powers getting twisted? Isabela's plants overgrowing everything and attacking people?

 

If you'd prefer to go fluffier, Agustin and Julieta meeting? I presume bees are involved. Or Luisa having some fun with her strength.

 

I'm not anti-Felix, but I ran out of noms! Feel free to include him.

 

I have a toddler so I watch Encanto a lot and listen to Encanto a lot.

One of the things I love about FT is all the shippy potential - so while you don't have to use everyone, please at least use them in pairs - Gajeel/Levy, Mira/Laxus (Juvia/Gray or Elf/Ever for background if you like)

 

I'd really like something fun for this - "ghost" scares or haunted houses or scavenger hunts or jump scares to induce a kiss, or vanishing hitchhikers.

 

Fun, sexy, and a little scary – jump scares, costumes, etc – go for it. Costumes and scaring people in teams are great, and I’m down for an actual real ghost (maybe one they don’t realize is a ghost until it’s over).

 

I am current on the anime, so have fun! I am not current on 100 Years Quest.

 

I lean more towards treat on this one, but would be cool with a trick involving a vanishing hitchhiker, perhaps? Levy/Gajeel are my favorite couple, but I love all of them. I would also be here for a “group girls/boys play trick on the opposite sex that backfires” treat.

I would be good with trick or treat here. I like the idea of a ghostly apparition in the halls of Spencer (perhaps our nurses are back helping to teach) – good with a real ghost or with a pretend one. Or even just some harmless Halloween fun to amuse their patients?

 

While I love the WW2 setting of the fandom, for this one feel free to keep it more ambiguous.

 

Haunted Mansion (Disneyland Ride)

I'd love something about these awesome ladies of the Haunted Mansion - maybe before they got there?

 

I prefer the Werecat Lady to appear in her guise as a black panther (see my letter for picture).

 

How did they get to the Haunted Mansion? Are there other Greek myths haunting the place? Do they stick together? I just want to know.

 

Or, for lighter, the Ghost Host dealing with them. Please include at least one of the women if you use the Host. Staff meeting hijinks?

 

I love the Haunted Mansion and I would love anything for these ladies! Does the Werecat cause trouble? Is Medusa lonely for other Greek myth characters (I know there was a Daphne planned)? Is Madame Leota tired of summoning the spirits? Does she want some better music?
