Amazon = Evil

So I ordered my Amelia Peabody book, and yet another history book to join the family here, this one about the assassination of Heydrich in Prague. I expect to enjoy that one greatly, especially since I've actually stood in that crypt where they made their last stand. That, of course, fulfilled my Super Saver shipping amount, and I went on to add in a few of the Nancy Drew and/or Hardy Boys books that we're going through a phase reading now. Yes, more of the 80's and 90's nostalgia that's so prevalent. What can I say? You're talking to the person who would read the side of a cereal box in the morning, just to have something to read.

And speaking of 80's nostalgia, they're talking about making a Dallas movie. That should be fun, although I am decidedly not thrilled about the idea of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Brad Pitt playing Sue Ellen and JR.

Unfortunately, this week, I have to study. History test on Thursday. There's also my ever expanding "to-read" pile. Like I've said, some people are attracted to small,shiny things - some of us are attracted to books.

The bookcases are in a state of rearrangement. It's sort of an organic process, or would be if I could just get the books to move themselves. I do look forward to combining my books with my husband's.

Off to get ready to start another week!

Brad Pitt is one of my favorite actors. I used to think he was such a pretty boy actor. Anyone that thinks that should see Fight Club, Se7en, or Snatch. I am convinced he only gets better with age (like cheese and fine wine).

In the same vein I can't even picture a Dallas remake let alone him in it. (I am a bit young I know)

Ha. That is so strange about the cereal boxes---I am the same way. I love to read.
