We're seriously considering going back to stay after Brian's done with the military... my parents weren't from Texas, but my mother's family came from Okie territory, close enough?

It can be scary, but there's other factors that play into the decision. Especially as there are so many worse places we could be stationed.

John and I are buying land here next year, so that we'll have somplace to gow when he retires.

Ideally, I'd like to go back to NV or AZ, but there may be an expensive-factor involved. Also, the fact that Texas is very good for veterans.
