First, my sincere apologies for how late this is! If you've already started something I'm sure I'll love it as long as there is NO CAT DEATH.

While last year I received a beautifully done story that did indeed involve gentle natural cat death at the end of an incredible story, unfortunately in October 2021 I had to live a version of it when I discovered my best Siamese girl Penelope had bone cancer and was dying. Her spirit slipped away in the afternoon sun, even if her body kept going until night. I am not over it, and not in a place where I can tolerate a story about cat death.

So rest assured you cannot write something too fluffy on this one.

Pantherlily is definitely good luck for Gajeel (and bad luck for others). Maybe he gets trapped in a box – or just can’t stay out of one? And yes, I love when he acts catlike.

I love when Cringer acts like he's just a big housecat. He needs a belly rub and some peace and quiet. Maybe he and He-Man come up against an ancient feline guardian beast?

Give the poor scaredy-cat a little bit of a break. If they encounter the feline guardian, edge towards the playful.

I had a pair of Siamese, although my partner vetoed naming them after the famous ones. (Unfortunately we lost our Yum Yum last year)

I love Yum Yum's status as the household paw.

What do Koko and Yum Yum get up to while alone?

Another interaction with Mr. O'Dell? Perhaps they save his life?

I’m not a super-fan of Polly so just avoid her. Totally down for the cats talking when the human is not there.

My favorite chunk of the series is the beginning of the Moose County era to early middle – after awhile, it starts to get a little silly. (TCW Played Post Office, Talked to Ghosts, Went Underground, Shakespeare are my favorites)

The robot lions act like cats. Or how the lions respond to their pilots - especially when they switch around in the Lions. I feel like Black feels more complex. I'd be totally down for Black welcoming Allura (she is the princess).

Or the Lions and their creator (or his ghost)?

So I’d love something where the lions actually have feline guardian spirits associated with them.

Or, the robots interact with real cats (big or little).

I really like the idea that the lions have a spiritual component. There’s a great take on it here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/114508. The idea of the lions adapting to pilots and vice versa is a very interesting one.

I need a fix-it for Brian and Cricket. I would be a-ok with them rescuing some abandoned kittens but I need this made right.

For this one? Absolute fluff and hope and happiness is what I need. If you choose to set it after fixing is fine, but this boy and his cat need so much more than they get in the canon. Last year, I was okay with Cricket’s ghost pointing Brian toward some kittens, but this year no ghosts and no dead cats.

Exactly what it sounds like. If the Haunted Mansion is a gateway to cat aferlife, obviously they have died, but don't dwell on the death, but the joy.

I prefer the Werecat Lady in her blank panther form, not the tiger one at other parks. I really love her, I even have some ridiculously expensive artwork of her framed on my wall. If you want to play off the actual cats of Disneyland, feel free. Maybe Werecat Lady is a cat deity or feline guardian?
