Darkest Night 2019 Letter

I apologize for the lateness of the letter.  My life is a little crazy at the moment!  But I'll love whatever you come up with!

General preferences on fanfic are here.

Think more Hitchcock, less Saw when it comes to violence. I would prefer no graphic violence and gore. Instead, I'd love a story that makes me think twice about climbing the stairs without turning ALL the lights on first. I'm also into shiny veneers that hide dark secrets. I'm also down for characters dealing with things using black humor. Tinges of hope at the end are generally good. 

Also, be nice to the animals. Those always bother me more. Feel free to kill people off as needed.

I love urban legends and phantom hitchhikers and Return to Glennascaul. I'm always down for dysfunctional families and relationships.

For the sex ones, light kink (blindfolds, mild restraints, watching and being watched) are all good.  Please no use of the C-word for female genitalia.

Trapped with a Killer - Ivan (Laxus' father) comes to mind

Vanishing Hitchhiker - What it says on the tin...unless you want to turn one of them into a vanishing hitchhiker...

Nightmares - I see Laxus as a good choice for this one, given some of his actions and his need to protect his family (and if you wanted to have Mira comfort him, I am totally down for that)

 Sex to Power Magic - What it says on the tin

Mirror Universe - see Doomed Timeline above. Interactions could be good

Public sex - either couple is fine

If you’re interested in one of the first two, I recommend checking out Episode #175 after the credits for the scene with the alternate Levy.

Most of the prompts will work with any of them.  For Nightmares I would prefer either Laxus or Gajeel, and their skeletons in the closet. 

For powering magic Mira and Laxus could be…explosive…

Serial Killers - Prefer only Richard be the serial killer (think Ted Bundy)

Blackmail - Maybe it's not the lumberyard that is profitable (Mary can get in on this one)

Bodies in the basement/skeletons in the closet - feel free to be literal with this one

Psycho Killer at College UL - if you're not into the Bobbseys as master criminals

Revenge - good with them either trying to get it or being the victims of it

Someone's trying to kill me - Either Richard or Mary could be the target here

Voyeurism - Maybe someone has a guilty pleasure (please no voyeuristic activities against underage characters)

Public Sex - see above

Several of these could go together nicely – blackmail and the sex ones – or the sex ones could be for fun.  They do run a lumberyard, and I’m sure it has a woodchipper…never mind the lakefront.  I’d prefer all nominated characters survive, please!

Conflicted Loyalties/Dysfunctional Family - just ramp it up a little, they're already pretty dysfunctional

One of Us is a Killer - I vote for Claud, or maybe Lord Darracott starts bumping off his heirs?

Grief/Mourning - Dealing with Lord Darracott's passing

Pretty much what it says.  They already have a reasonable amount of dysfunction, but I see Anthea, Vincent and Hugo as a tight unit.  I’ve received a few very good stories about their threesome, but I’d prefer keeping that aspect pretty happy – dealing with Lord Darracott’s passing could be good with this dynamic.  Does he know or suspect?

 

Perry Mason (TV)

Conflicted Loyalties - Della feeling pulled between the 2 of them

Public Sex - Maybe the strait-laced DA has a bit of a risk taking streak? Or maybe that's why he's being blackmailed...

Vanishing Hitchhiker - Could be an interesting encounter

Blackmail or Bodies/Skeletons could also be happening to a client

Pretty much what it says above.  I’m good for any and all of these.

Mirror Universe - Please not quite the black leather nighmare that it devolved into on DS9

Time Loop Character A failing - Thinking failure to save either Crusher could be good

Time Loop Deleting Characters - Please see above

Nightmares - If you saw the episode Night Terrors, you're on the right path

Picard/Crusher was one of my first ships, and I love them.  I’ve identified a couple of angsty ideas here, and if you’ve read Q-Squared, I’d love something that plays off that.

For Difficult Choices, I’d be interested in seeing how P/C plays out in that universe.  Is she his only chance to forget?  Can he spare a moment to think about what’s happening down in sickbay?  Can they have a quiet moment?  BTW, I love the visual when he hops the rail and takes tactical. 

Or for more angsty ones in Yesterday’s Enterprise, throw Jack in as well.
