Bad Book Review

This is posted over at my Dreamwidth journal, but I wanted to share with the wider audience as well.

When Pride and Prejudice Sequels attack

It's Mr. and Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy - Two Shall Become One and covers roughly the first six months of their marriage,

Now my only question is what to do with the book, because I don't want to leave it out where some unwary soul might read it and be scarred for life - neither do I want to ship it home.

Now, I'm going to need to read Frederica just to get that out of my head.

There are several "Mr and Mrs Darcy, the sequel" books out there. No way of stopping it, since the books are in the public domain. In at least one series they solve mysteries. But it sounds like you located the very very worst.

No, it's actually not the worst. That would belong to Linda Berdoll - I think it's called Days and Nights at Pemberley. Much worse. Abuse of the phrase "nether regions" was only the beginning in that book.

The mystery one is so-so, but North by Northanger in that series is pretty good.

Yes, yes it does.

I have it to read, but that is supposed to be funny. It's also an intentional spoof. This one took itself way too seriously.
