Well said! I so wish that we could, indeed, achieve true education and common sense on this issue--only the woman whose body is on the line should be able to decide what she wants to do with that body.

I get so sick of the people who rant about how awful abortion is, but would never do anything to help the kids who will be born, unwanted and possibly uncared for, because the mother cannot get an abortion, even when it's her best choice.

Only the woman involved can make that choice. I'm 57, and luckily past the point where I have to worry about it anymore, but I worry for my niece, my grandniece, and all the other younger women in the world. I remember reading the quote from a woman back in the 1970's, I think it was "if a man could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament." Not too far off, I'd guess!

Brava to you, and let's keep pushing for reasonable laws in this very private area of life.
