Pastels have their place. There are quite a few pastels *I* happen to look good in, for instance. I'll even admit that the earth tones which I regularly malign also have their place (iclysdale, frex, looks wonderful in earth tones, no matter what commodorified might say).

But yes: Where Are The Jewel Tones?!?! We need more Bright Colors!!
